QUOTE(mengsuan @ Oct 4 2010, 07:50 PM) Battery life is awesome! I have animated wallpaper, Facebook and Twitter retrieving updates and feeds every 30 minutes, Hotmail sync every 1 hour, WhatsApp push messaging always available. By end of the day, I usually have 70% to 85% of remaining power. By any chance I have lots of SMS and phone call, the lowest I ever had is 60% after a day I wrote this, I always keep myself connected to internet. wow,the most i get from this phone is 1 and a half day for normal usage. may i know what do you do for the battery when you first got the phone?

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Oct 4 2010, 10:36 PM) No specific settings that I can recall. I didn't even change 2G/3G settings manually. I think it is auto but 3G signal in my house is weak. I guess it might be using 2G most of the time. Using default twlauncher. It doesn't last long when it is new. When I just got the phone, I just keep charging the battery. Charge, take out, play a while, about 90%, I charge it full again. After a week of repeated rapid charging, the battery indicator hardly falls. i see...so did u often overcharge your battery?or just unplug it when its 100%?

QUOTE(ameeru_aniki @ Oct 5 2010, 09:13 PM) Yup, but u cmust do it on your own... Maxis wont do it for u. i think using Kies to upgrade will be much easier and safer bet if we dont have much time to explore those rooting stuff right?

QUOTE(Ultimat3 @ Oct 10 2010, 09:14 PM) I am just worried that something will attack. i got titanium backup pro. waiting to root when Froyo comes out. Do we need to backup before we root or update to froyo? QUOTE(gerald7 @ Oct 10 2010, 09:18 PM) I was reading somewhere that stock firmware is faster than those with TouchWiz ? how true is that? two seconds to launch dialer is really getting on my nerves. every time I press something see PU shows that the processor goes 100% for 2 seconds.. *sads whats the point of 1ghz if it cant multi task ? Use the lagfix everything become instant, lol

QUOTE(ameeru_aniki @ Oct 10 2010, 09:41 PM) Root using Odin and update to Froyo -> Highly recommended esp if u want to restore ur apps. (Odin removes all ur apps while flashing) Word of caution on Titanium Backup - if u plan to up from eclair to froyo or vice versa.... titanium backup will screw up ur phone. - my advice, use mybackup pro If rootvia adb - no need backup as it does remove/clear ur apps. Ermm if i update using kies it will backup everything for me?
