Long click on the grey contacts icon to set it to the SGS contacts application.

Depends on the root package.

Busybox provides extra linux-like commands/tools for apps that need them, e.g. titanium backup.

ders oni 'chg shortcut' 'chg icon' and 'swipe gesture'

Buddy, you should spend some time exploring the Launcherpro app - it's how we learn new things. Change shortcut, then applications, then find contacts.

I don't mind if our wait for FroYo until December would be then replaced with Gingerbread. biggrin.gif
*
gingerbread is after froyo right... galaxy s will be updated to gingerbread as well and the list goes on?? yawn.gif

my previous phone was hd2... no update to winmo 7 turns me off xD

I don't think Samsung had ever committed to providing Gingerbread for the SGS, especially since current news indicate the Gingerbread is more for tablets than for phones.. Only time will tell. As it is, I am happy enough with Froyo JPM + lagfix for now.
*
even on eclair, i'm very satisfied with my phone.. so froyo as the last update wouldnt upset me biggrin.gif

it was said hd2 will receive wp7 since it's the newest model at that moment.. then they cancelled it since hd2 has more than 3 keys -.-

Hi Guys,
Can we send our galaxy S to samsung service center at PJ or we need to send it to the center at berjaya plaza ?
Anyone send their beloved galaxy S to there for servicing or warranty claim before ? If yes, please share your experience. smile.gif
