well if you are talking about 3G line that is our coverage problem...our phone battery so fast drain off when in 3G mode coz our signal/line coverage is not that good so it sucks more battery when they try to maintain the connectivity on 3G network... when you use GSM only u get better signal/line try and see... my phone now manage to gone thru the day without worry flat at 3pm... but still battery like for all smart phone is the major hiccup...
now my phone battery can last till 7pm with average of 15~20% left... depends the usage on that day, worst case 5pm 15% left only... that is with GSM only...
with 3G network, most of the time 3PM only left 30% then until 5 pm it is about 15% already... that is normal usage, if heavy usage best i get is until 3pm left 15% only sad.gif

hey guys, i've got a bit of a problem with my wildfire.

you see, i've got a total of around 5000 messages in 5 different threads in handcent sms (1 thread got 4922 and the rest is seperated in another 4 threads). so, since the handcent sms was becoming lagging i decided to delete all the messages using the software sms backup (because i did successfully backup all of them obviously). but i only succeeded deleting the 4 threads that had merely <100 messages but the app keep on crashing when i try to delete the thread that has 4922 messages. the delete function in handcent sms was force closing too.

so, is there any software that can force delete everything from my sms inbox? or is there any function in the 'setting' that can enable me to restore the phone to original WITHOUT losing any contacts/calendar activities. thanx.

try to delete person by person... it is a bit "mah fan" but at least it works lo...

Wah u can last so long... i had been complaining since august on this matter... Mine unplug 7am till 5pm 20% left... In average on my working day... and i'm on gsm network only not 3g, if 3g worst case i need to charge around 3pm already... That is because our 3g network signal not stable/strong enough.. when i go sg, i on my wifi during office hour and on 3G network till 9pm still left 20% or more...

well
i am HTC WILDFIRE user too ....

but my WILDFIRE battery power only can last 2 days if normal usage ( not more than 5 mins of HSDPA network usage + not more than 5 mins voice call + not using other feature )

if i use it too much , the battery power at least can last about 9 hours...
Ur nirmal usage is minimal usage la... That is during my weekend or overseas holiday... Hehe... My usual usage is with gsm network only can last about 12 hours... 3g don think about that, only can last about 9 hours... All stats is till 15% battery left...
Due to our 3G network signal strength, do the phone with 3g on suck more juice...

im having gmail push notification on my wife's wildfire. is it normal to get your email 5minit or later. i thougt it is instant.
*
It is not push email still depend the interval of sync. Hard to say... It that u care too much when u can't receive an email after 10 sec u send it out?
I can only feel that speed when I'm in sg only... But in my land line wireless broadband...
