just got a phone call from this company. i did applied for the position at jobstreet but withdrawn the application few days ago because i feel i'm not that interested with that field. today, the sales director called me up for interview tomorrow. the weird thing is the interview is for the same post that i withdrawn from jobstreet but at another of their company (a hotel). i have such a limited time to prepare since i still need to work tomorrow (practical training). i hope i won't look tired during the interview.

what should i answer if the the interviewer asked: 1) why are you applying for this position (animal helper at a shelter) when you have a degree in marketing? my reason: - i loves dog - interested to help and save the animals (taking care of them) - i want to do something i have always wanted to do after fulfilling my parents wish of getting a degree. 2) why do you think that you're suitable for the job?
i know answer like this do not sound convincing at all. how can i make it to be more convincing?

i'm going for an interview this thursday at hard rock hotel. as i'm a fresh grad in marketing who have no experience in hospitality industry,
1) what should i tell them if they asked me to introduce myself? i have no experience and achievement to talk about. 2) i worked as an intern at a construction materials company, how can i relate my experience with marcom position that they are offering? what if i couldn't relate it at all?

faceless: thanks for the reply but, i thought that is a very cliché answer and not a good one as well.

faceless: for them to know more about us?
another question: usually the interviewer will ask "do you have any questions?" i know it will be better for us to ask a few questions because this will show that we're interested with that position. however, the problems i faced in my 2 previous interviews is that, i asked them the questions during the discussion i had with the interviewers. which means that i have no questions to ask anymore at the end. how can i avoid such problem or what should i do if at then end i have no questions to ask because i already ask them during the discussion?

QUOTE(OKLY @ Aug 10 2011, 05:09 PM) To all HR and employees, have you ever come across a question whereby the interviewer asks "Career, Job Satisfaction or Money?". What are some good examples of answering this kind of question where you have to pick one and give an intelligent reason? I encountered this similiar question. Need to write a short essay from a few topics - this is one of it and I choosed it. My POV is job satisfaction is more important than the salary. But, I'm not from the HR, so don't really know what's their ideal answer.

Went to CTSM interview just now. They asked a lot about my current job. I guess it's because there are lots of similiarity between my current job with the one I'm interviewing for.
