Interviewers expect you to have a general understanding of what the market situation is like. You can further enhance your understanding with recent news (Eg: BP oil spill). Its even better if you have an opinion of your own on how to solve these problems (the opinion you are about to provide has to be valid. It can even be one of the options that is currently under consideration by political parties or whatever).

Interviewers expect BOTH capability to speak and also sound knowledge. Working in Banks is highly demanding and they only take in the best of the best (unless you are applying for call center or jobs that are not really related to the core banking operations).

Every job that allows you to learn has lots and lots of pile of work. Long hours or not depends on your time management skills.

Haih, the practise to produce payslip is still going on.. no wonder everyone is underpaid.

You should be paid BASED ON HOW MUCH THE JOB PAYS, not based on how much u earned previously.
