It seems that other than the first post, there aren't many other questions employers tend to ask? That post was posted 5 years ago. I bet many other questions are asked nowadays. Anyone wanna list down a whole long list for me to practice on?

Nice one... "Why didn't you work with the company you had your internship with?"
Yo, keep em coming guys. I'm compiling a whole list, and then I'm gonna prepare razor sharp answers and practice it with some people. If I'm gonna bag a job in Australia, I'll need all the training I can get! |

QUOTE(uNeVErwaLkaloNe @ Jan 21 2010, 10:56 AM) Some company refuse to pay more than 15% of your current salary, some 20%. I've been to interview which my expected salary was more than 30% my current salary. The HR tell me they cant give me more than 20% because it was their company policy. Now, is this reason good enough not to reveal your current salary? That's ridiculous. So if you're extremely proficient and talented in what you do, and you can do what most other people can't (for example you're a powerful programmer/super good with microsoft access/know stuff about Islamic Financial Legal stuff) they still go on about the 20% thing? Sounds bollocks to me.I have a friend in another department telling me, there's this guy, some damn junior guy. He's the whole reason the dept isn't falling apart. If he left, the 20 or so ppl there ... even the HEAD OF DEPT would not be able to cope with all the stuff he's helping them out with. This kind of people, companies will go out of their way to retain them. That is pure TALENT. |

Well, I have quite some knowledge in Islamic finance since I'm in Securities Commission now. I doubt the guai lous have much exposure to that area - probably if they have, its only academic.
I have real life working experience in that area. Besides, I have passed RG 146 - ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) training requirement for Financial Advisors. That that's all in the other questions already... this is a question on its own. I'll have to wreck my brains to come up with some good shit lol. All that motivation crap about passion and shit. |

Haven't you even worked part time before? Casual jobs? Voluntary work? Organising any school/uni/club related events/outings?
Those count in your cv as well. They are so important and always overlooked by job applicators. |
