Another thing I wanna ask is, should we remain serious during the interview or should we smile often? Even when answering question??

Cuz I hv a tendency of smiling all the time...

Be Cool and dont show to the employer/ Recruiter  that sign of Nervous

as simple as that
*

This is good habit. Keep it up. I dont see any reason why you trade it for a serious face to attend interview. I was just wondering who gives you the idea that you had to hold a serious face for interview?

Yah and please define air plane too. The answer can be obtained through volumetric calculation provided we know if it is a jumbo jet, concorde, 747 ...

I thought most likely you already got 80% of getting the job if been calling for 2nd Interview and most likely the rest is the matter of $$$ or maybe the HR or plus the Director want to do some face reading.
+1 nod.gif The boss must at least see who he is hiring.

Really useful. Among these frequently asked questions, I really don't like the one "tell me about yourself", which I also consider the easiest but also the most difficult one to answer.
*
The purpose is to gauge your presentation skills. Although you had already planned how to handle try not to do it too fluently. Have a good intro but make it look like you are thinking out as you speak. Go briefly but deliver it like train on the on the content (summarised educaton, employement, and family back ground if you like). For the conclusion (3-4 sentences to sell yourself) deliver it with the finesse of a well groom public speaker.

Is that normal to afraid of interview ? When I received a call for interview arrangement, somehow all of sudden, my hands sweat, I can't sleep at night.

Is that normal or just me only ?
*

No its not normal but it is not just you only.
This show lack of confidence on your part. There are many people who lack confidence too. Don't treat this as a consolation. You carry this lack of confidence for the interview and you can say goodbye to being employed.

Instead of spending the night trying to get to sleep you could prepare yourself. With preparation comes confidence. With practise one day you will be prepared at all times. That will be the day where you will not tense up on a phone call.

Hi guys, i need some of your idea.. let say i put RM5k as my expected salary, until the negotiation part..normally they will reduce it to RM4.5K. How i am going to convince them to increase another Rm200 or RM300 to make it 4.8K as final agreement?
*
Seriously, if you can command a 5k salary you should know how to negotiate your remuneration package.

1.) Are you a team player?
People who say they are team player are actually not. I will not say I am but I know when to follow instruction and when to lead should it be required.

better apply job in BAT then.. as I in R&D mood..

the other way, can counter back "then I work after 5 how much you pay back?", "i answer call from you/ customer after office hours so count back?"
*
Then interviewer will think you "pandai pandai want to jawab balik" attitude. Its better to "buat bodoh" ask to test waters.

sometimes i could see some interviewer so cocky and want to make them looked knew everything and their answer was the best answer in the world... they were not hiring slayer but a colleague/ team player so interviewee just be humble to them but not like bagging to them lol..
*
Ahhh you seem to have attended a lot of interviews. Sometimes cocky interviewer just need to be put where they belong. I remember my last job I really give the interviewer a good shelling. When it was my turn to ask question I gave him a tough question. His answer was "this only the management will know". I responded, "Gee, believe it or not if I ask any 7 years who just started school they will give me the same answer?" He was stunned as he did not expect an interviewee would dare to insult him. I spare no mercy, "Wanna put a wager on it? You pick the school and we go ask 10 Std 1 students there. *knock knock on table* Hah, I don't think so. What's your position here by the way?" I walk off saying, "thanks I know my way out".

can i mention in the interview that I got offer from other company, and ask them when can i expect to hear from them wether i'm hired or not?
*
I don't see anything wrong with it but it will not rush my decision making process.
