I don't know this section is right place to post this question . If this section is wrong to ask electrical stuff, please any moderate change it to proper place, thanks. Today I have bought photo control (selcon) to install at in front of my house fluorescent light to light on and off automatically at night and day time. In the photo control device have written LOAD as red color wire, neutral as white color wire and line as black color wire. My doubt is which one is live wire, is it load or line? Please some one help me ! After google i got some info how to connect. But still not understand. This post has been edited by wordplay: Oct 2 2010, 01:35 AM

Yeah imported from Japan. Nope. Is "Line" (Black color wire) is similar to "Live" (Brown or Red wire)? So what is stand for "Load" (red color wire) written in the device? Added on October 2, 2010, 11:34 pmQUOTE(Xploit Machine @ Oct 2 2010, 12:34 AM) its an imported device? CASE 1 AmericansLine -> Black Load -> Red Neutral -> White CASE 2 MalaysianEarth -> Green Live -> Brown Neutral -> Blue for case 1, there's no EARTH leakage provided, therefore u can connect either Black or Red it doesnt matter, if u dont use RED just duct-tape it dont strip the copper naked. Added on October 2, 2010, 12:37 amAdding, if my guide confused u .. lets make it simple, Black -> Brown (Live) White -> Blue (Neutral) Red -> NOT AVAILABLE got it? Thank you for your info bro . Problem solved. This post has been edited by wordplay: Oct 2 2010, 11:34 PM
