QUOTE(pyangaox @ Nov 30 2010, 12:50 AM) need info for future racer here.. is this g27 or DFGT almost like drive a real car? can give star 1 to 10 for this two wheel .. really appreciate ur help ^^ think of getting 1 but dont have any idea which is better ^^ yes both also almost like driving real car cuz both can set until max 900 degree rotation, both have good force feedback. which is better? obviously G27, better stuff cost more of course but for me I think DFGT is enough as you'll seldom use the clutch on the G27.. However one thing I don't like about DFGT is there's no flappy pedals, instead its a small button which for me quite a chore to press it. But I'ma try modding it to add flappy stuff onto it.. So if unless ur the type who prefers to have clutch and H shifters instead of sequencial shifter(which cannot change side unlike the MOMO), then you should get the DFGT.. |

QUOTE(Optimus War @ Dec 2 2010, 10:30 AM) http://forums.logitechio.com/t5/PLAYSTATIO...PS3/td-p/325293based on user's comment, MOMO does work with GT5 on PS3. |

QUOTE(ESLord @ Dec 6 2010, 12:14 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Another cheap wheel stand. Not really ergonomic but what to do...... Damn strain and tiring. Still on the learning curve of G27, damn hard to use especially the tight corner. so many turn until dunno where the gear shifter is. and about your G27, you could adjust it to have lesser degree of rotation, my suggestion is 360, or 420 is nice, I myself still not use to even the 420 rotation cuz I used to race with MOMO with only 270 rotation.. |

you could get any typical table rather than using a shelve..
here's my previous setup, now using DFP instead of MOMO, although mine is PC and not PS3(this is PS3 wheel thread), but you still could do something similar with a smaller table which can put near the TV/PS3.. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « for the degree of rotation u'd need to google around cuz I don't own a PS3 so not sure how it works but I'm sure there's surely a way to configure the G27 just like how it can be configured on a PC.. |

hmm.. GT switch to Thrustmaster from Logitech..
the flappy paddles look HUGE.. but the gas, brake, cluth pedals stands out the most.. I don't remember any other wheels that have pedal in that position(unless u mod the G27/G25) and did I see 1080 degree rotation? wow.. really different from other wheels in the mkt.. QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ Dec 6 2010, 11:48 AM) that wheel is insane..have to buy the gear separately. Ya just saw the price tag too, insanely expensive, cost $150 more than a G27 just to get extra 180degree rotation and more realistic foot pedals but without a stick shifter..and even without that,it already costs 500USD or something |

QUOTE(saviola47 @ Jan 10 2011, 07:54 PM) why u need the manual?I don't think there's a manual for it cuz every game configures the buttons differently this might help tho http://www.logitech.com/en-us/441/131?hub=1 Added on January 11, 2011, 11:30 pm QUOTE(danxy @ Jan 10 2011, 09:36 PM) Hi Guys, did u connect both the USB and power supply cable?I have a GT Force Pro, intend to use it for GT5 but i dont know how to connect? The steering got light, but cannot press any button at all how to make it connect to the game? Added on January 11, 2011, 11:33 pm QUOTE(advocado @ Jan 10 2011, 08:25 PM) for handbrake I'd recommend using the H shifters and use paddle shift for gears, mirror button is totally up to u as everyone different preference and it never really a trouble to finda suitable buttonThis post has been edited by shirley_andy: Jan 11 2011, 11:33 PM |

I don't think so, It should be just plug and play.. almost all wheels are like that. I can't imagine any other adjustment except for steering and pedal sensitivity etc.

QUOTE(kowkl @ Jan 14 2011, 01:57 PM) I can't recall the brand but what but not sure of the quality. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between the wheels other than the price. I only know about some of the logitech wheelsHope to get feedback. Tq. there's the cheapest one, Logitech MOMO but it might not work on some games on PS3, 240degree lock to lock rotation, this one cost around RM200~RM250 then there's the Logitech Driving Force Pro, originally made for GT4, then it was being replaced by Logitech Driving Force GT instead, 900degree lock to lock rotation, cost a bit lower than DFGT the DFGT replaced the DFP, with more buttons, also some feature as the DFP, cost around RM350~RM450. then there's the G25, this one comes with H shifters and clutch, however is was then discontinued and replaced by the G27 G27 i think is Logitech's best and highest end wheel so far. Non logitech wheels are like the Thrustmaster, Fanatec etc.. google and around to learn more |
