Hi there, does any sifu's here know where i can get a Logitech G29 wheel repaired? It doesn't power up even after replacing the power brick. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Does anyone knows which shop in KL can I get Fanatec products such as CSL Elite or CSW with CS paddle, shifter and the simulator rig with chairs? Basically the complete set for PC? Or second hand items also can. I tried to order directly from Fanatec but it doesn’t ship to Malaysia. Those on shopee listed price are way way w@y higher than Fanatec listed price.

The G29 caught my attention but after much reading it seems it’s gear driven and not as smooth, then move target to Thrustmaster T300 RS GT version with clutch. Then YouTube compare T300 with Fanatec shows it’s much smoother even though both belt driven. Also what rig is good and affordable? I nvr own a sim rig or wheel before but would like to get a decent one to play with. I can’t afford the super high end direct drive with motion rig. Is T300 GT a good start? What rig is suitable?

if you want to buy a fanatec wheel, they only way is thru personal shopper ads that, i guess, you've already found them. there's no other way. Fanatec used to ship to Malaysia, but due to credit cards frauds, they no longer ship here (what i've been told by my friends).

If you wanna play on PS4, Logitech or thrustmasters wheels are more than adequate, imho.

I am playing on my gaming PC. The huge price difference on fanatec website and Malaysia sellers is too much. That’s y I am asking where can get it directly as I think self import would be much cheaper?

I just bought T300 RS with TH8A & T3PA Pro combo earlier this year to upgrade from my G25 set.

Why should I throw them away anyway ?

because... there's no official word from Sony then if the current wheels that work with PS4, will work with PS5. So the news link that i shared stated that peripherals that works with PS4 will be supported by PS5 (subject to each manufacturer confirmation). and for people that's holding out from buying the current gen wheels can breathe easy that current gen wheels will work with PS5.

fanatec has officially confirmed yesterday that their current ps4 wheels will work with PS5. Still waiting for Thrustmaster's and Logitech's confirmation.

When PS4 was launched, it rendered my 3 Logitech wheels useless (G27, DFP & momo).

There are options such as CronusMax/Titan convertors to connect to newer consoles.

I have the CronusMax since G25 is not supported in PS4.

These options are much cheaper than replacing the whole steering wheels set, until the wheels are totally worn or faulty and due for replacement.

yeah i'm well aware of the converters you can use. tried it, experienced a little bit of lag (the effect can be lessen with muscle memory) and sometimes take a lot of fiddling with the in game settings to make it perfect.

Now rocking T500 RS with my PS4 (retired from PC sim racing already). Still kept my 3 old Logitech wheels, just because hahaha. Now eye-ing Fanatec DD1 since Fanatec confirmed it will work with PS5.

just got myself a Thrustmaster T150 Pro + F-GT Lite.

Dusting off the PS3 with GT5 (only car title I have) ... wondering if anyone wants to let go of their PS3 racing games ? Will consider any but top of the list:

1. Need For Speed: Most Wanted
2. Grid 2 (or DiRT 3 , which is better?)
3. Burnout Paradise

i've installed F1 2020 on PS5 and the fanatec csl elite works on it. the wheel can also control PS5 main menu just like ps4

PS5 should recognize the fanatec csl elite as a PS4 type controller wheel, so should not be a problem to play PS4 games that is already compatible with the wheel.

Now whether or not next gen games would recognize the PS4 wheels will depends on game developers themselves to put in the interfacing themselves, or rely on PS5 firmware to provide the interfacing, along with the wheels own firmware update to comply with the PS5 device handshake protocols.

Hori can adjust sensitivity, deadzone on the wheel and also thru smartphone APP iinm.

Actually got D-Pad on T80. It was the Push/Start Engine button lol. As for sensitivity and deadzone I just use in-game settings. I like the metal shifter on the wheel instead of plastic
