i think u should get the Desire Z.

supposedly better proc than the current desire.. and of course qwerty keyboard.

also the new HTC fast boot or something like that is pretty nice...

and the best part is the new HTCSense.com thingy...the new features (especially security) is friggin cool...

I think the Desire Z is quite heavy (180g), even heavier than the Desire HD (164g).

UK recently launched the white version of Desire. I hope it's coming here too.

Desire has a very dated GPU. Cant play 3D games properly. More worth it to wait for Desire z or Desire HD =D

Definitely wait for Desire Z, few days a go HTC came to my college do promo, Desire retail price without plan is like 2199 if I remember correctly, or around 2099.
