Getting my copy of Cataclysm after work

Refrain from doing it now. Wait till 4pm. You may get your cdkey banned if you continue doing it.

Just upgrade your account with the cata cdkey and run the launcher to install and apply any non-critical updates.
Then sit in the long queue... err, I mean play

Still 2 hours before I leave my workplace to grab my copy of cataclysm and 2 hours more till I reach home.

Have no problems with server queues or not getting xp from quests.. so far

Btw, after upgrading your account to Cata, anyone had to download another ~1GB patch using launcher?
Bear in mind, the version I use before upgrading to Cata is 4.0.3a

Thanks, didn't want to end up having to reinstall because of a corrupt installation

Lucky I'm still in my 50s, still leveling at breakneck speed
By the time I reach 80, it will be just nice when I decide to level in those new areas.

Btw, anyone tried archaelogy? Current mechanics makes it extremely tedious, you can only survey 3 times per site, more sites will be available to you as you level, and afaik, they don't respawn. And the travelling from site to site =
