Nope, you'll need the expansion to level from 80-85/new race/new zone,the new raids instance,dungeons.
For people who doesn't have the expansion, they only restricted to the old world changes(eastern kingdom&Kalimdor)/class combo/new talents only.

btw swtor is not going to be a wow killer not many people like rpg's like that so i do not think it will be a wow killer kids cant stand the fact that they have to make a choice that effects their character and that choice cannot be changed.
