My new Onkyo TX-NR708 is arriving soon but got to match with my existing Mordaunt-Short Carnival series speakers. I wonder whether it matches or the MS speakers is unable to bring the best out of Onkyo? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanx....U r right except I am a sucker for a network amp. Hence, decided to keep my old Marantz SR4600 and the Carnival for family area, and get a new system for the AV room.

What will be a good match for the NR3008?.now that the NR708 is off the radar screen....:-)
