hi, i wanted to get a xbox 360, but my tv is quite small and its not a lcd or plasma tv, can i play xbox using it?

you can..but for best results you should go for hd..a computer monitor should suffice

last time when i use tv(the bulky one) the pic is kinda blur, hard to read..if u dont have the money to buy new lcd tv better buy cheap crt monitor but why buy crt monitor when lcd monitor is also cheap nowdays

I agree some games the words are quite hard to read, and black bars will appear on some games..
if ur tv has s-video input, it might improve a little.. from my exp..
I save up and get myself a 24 inch lcd, it's like a huge improvement, replaying many games now..

you can still play.. but it will be in standard definition.. but it will still be much better than ps2 & wii even on SD TV

Gaming with SD TV or standard television, you'll face readibility & small font text problem,

but most of them readable and playable
