My HTC Wildfire is having some problem finding many other Apps in the market.

Even when I get a link. Somehow I still am not able to download it. Even with Bar Scanner.

Somebody please help?

I heard about the Fingerprinting thing... How is that applicable?

i think its probably due to the screen resolution of the wildfire. not many applications are compatible with it. that was the main reason why i didn't buy it.

not just screen resolution.

Market is also have location restriction. Example, i have doubleTwist about a month or two ago. After a new update doubleTwist in no longer in the market but people in certain market are still able to download. Same goes to the latest gmail update.

root your phone if you really itching for those apps.

That's why I cannot recommend HTC Wildfire to all my friends.

From my colleague experience of using HTC Legend, she cannot download and install certain apps that require the standard screen resolution of 800x480 pixels.

Now, the screen resolution of HTC Wildfire is even lower than HTC Legend....even more worst!

That is not the standard screen resolution. That is for the high-end models like Desire, SGS, Nexus One. Learn your facts right.

And this thread should be bin.

yes... it is not standard... 320x240 is lowest resolution and 480x320 is the most common... and the highest of now is 800x480 where all the higher end device is using...

the apps limitation if not only the resolution, it related to Malaysia did not support on paid apps... pls don tell me root the phone or cheating way to buy apps, that is not the original way and that is 1 of the limitation of Android at the moment...
