i did a few times.. i recreated my char.. onion helm still in my inventory


to those running sli on FFXIV and couldnt get it working... i have a fix.. i will post up tonite coz im at work now

FFXIV SLI fix

1. Download the Nvidia Geforce SLI profiles tools

SLI Tools

2. Download the SLI profile

 NVIDIA_Profiles.txt ( 689.54k ) Number of downloads: 11


3. Run the Nvidia Geforce SLI profile tools and import the SLI profile


there ya go, SLI fixed

anyone notice the game frame rate capped at 60fps? i manage to get my sli to run 80% with :-

16x AA / 16x AF
Antialiasing - Transparency sli x8 (supersample)

I used to play alot of mmo likes WoW, Warhammer, Aion, LOTR, D&D, etc.. i found ffxiv very difficult to cope. Its not like everything instant, like when you want to speak to an npc, 1st you need to target the npc > hit enter (delay 1sec) > menu shows up > select specific (delay 1sec) > another menu shows up > so on and so on.. So its take alot of patience to play this game.. Very slow pace indeed. For me its new never tried this kinda experience b4, the game is still early so theres alot to fix. So time to time this could be a good game after all the fixes and adjustment but also have chances to be not much of changes.

for me if you thinking of upgrading your pc or buying a new gaming pc and planning to try out on MMO, this might be the one for you coz the graphic is absolutely gorgeous and the sound is superb too. Gameplay its ok if dont mind a little slow, and playing an MMO with joypad its kinda cool.. but if looking for fast pace, pvp, and rich pve content (already) then you can count FFXIV out coz its simply not ready.

myself gonna give it a try until end of year, hope everything goes smooth and steady ..
