So people are kinda divided between Gysahl and Wutai. So how should we gather? Largely on Wutai at this moment.

Err what I mean is the community from Malaysia is scattered. New players will be wondering which server to join too to at least play together and so.
Btwif have multiple characterthen have to pay more right for the extra character. This post has been edited by Alviano: Sep 30 2010, 01:26 PM |

And I read that the patch is torrent p2p which operates in LOCAL region. Does that means we rely on malaysian seeds? =P

Maybe it is too early to introduce the game to my friends. Some of them bought the game after I introduced it to them and now they are quitting due to the bad gameplay and problems.
Felt bad when have to ask them to buy the game and pay monthly subscriptions when they told me even FREE games are way better than this. Felt guilty here. Anyway I am still trying to continue playing. But mist of the reviews are bad. |

Haha but I find it very interesting and have huge potential. If just Square Enix could solve some issues and improve the things right?
I know a lot will think so. Have fun~ |

Hehe enough of complain and whining. We should head to ffxivcore forum in their review section for more of these reviews topic.
You can read comments and reviews from players with various background even ffxi fans. Have fun~ |

QUOTE(jotaro12 @ Oct 5 2010, 01:55 PM) If we don't complain to SE then how are we able to expect them to do what they suppose to do in the 1st place - make the game suck less and improve on day to day basis. I'm happy as I've tried since OB till last night when the incident happened. Of course people will whine but if the whining is continuous, then we should take note. I don't mean that we shouldn't give constructive comments. Check this thread, some of the players are annoyed with all these whiners.I've sent a comment to SE and hope they will improve the current problem which most players are facing - server congestion. SE won't come and notice lowyat forum and we just complaints among Lowyat community. So as I wrote there we should go to MAJOR site and forum to give our view and discussions. Cool down man. Good thing you sending msg to SE. Try check the replies on earlier post, ppl are annoyed with all these dy. |

I read in ffxivcore or somewhere that Click and Buy company do have charges and so on when you make payment. They even chefs you when you wish tobterminate your account. Blame us the users didn't read the terms and conditions when registering.
So I am looking for other solutions. The other payment company. I am NA version FYI. Investigating paypal and molpoint Malaysia to buy crest in ultimate play website |

Ok, I gonna try. Thanks guy~ doesn't have good feeling with cc on these company. If anything happened they won't provide you any customer service or filing complaint.
I registered as NA and if they don't provide global cs, then any problems or mischarges won't be entertained. So I try to look for other method. Anyway, I will see how. This post has been edited by Alviano: Oct 7 2010, 01:30 PM |

I wonder why people kept defending the game and saying it is great and then chase away others who commented about the problems of the game.
The few problems mentioned over and over in reviews and forums are there. It is really there and it is a fact. Then all the fans doesn't want to admit it and blinded. They kept thinking this is a masterpiece and a great game. Well if SE behaves in such way, then they won't improve the game because like most of the fans, thy think their game is so great and flawless. Please, we commented not because we hate the game. We love the game but disappointed with the game with so much potential yet delivered badly. Some said it is super new and fresh game so problems are suppose to be there. Unless SE is super new in gaming and mmorpg industry, they shouldn't have missed out BASIC flaws and problems which even FREE BETA mmorpg manages to think of. We don't do the same mistake all over again as if they never make any game/mmorpg before. I like the game but at this moment it is in a very bad shape. I agree with what gamespot said. Clear your mind and don't be so defensive and read/watch the reviews. You will see that THERE ARE PROBLEMS NEED TO BE SOLVED. Don't chase people away with arrogant comments. SE needs more subscribers and I don't think they make the game just to please the hardcores. Everything is up to SE now. My friends are quitting and some are laughing at me for paying for such game. Even worst after gamespot 4/10 reviews and soon more bad reviews popping out all with same issues. Yet fans denied such issues exists... |

Yup I am still playing. Hoping to see what is coming from SE.
My friends are mostly MMORPG hardcores. They are not really final fantasy fans so it is difficult to convince them to buy the game and play at this moment. Wait when things gets better. They were interested but after it released it is a let down. I wonder SE developers read reviews? Or they are still happy and proud with ffxiv like most of the fanboys claiming this is the best mmorpg... Check the official website, known issues are just several macro issues and Market problems which highlighted even in beta, a month ago? I still playing and waiting for REAL official release next year as this game is meant for PS3 release. I am paying to be their beta tester for a better FFxIV. Fan of FF series. |

QUOTE(legaia_green @ Oct 14 2010, 02:37 AM) Slow ka? I guess so. I think FFXIV is really designed with the casual gamers in mind. Feels like I can take my time doing things in my own pace, unlike some others where it's a race to achieve higher lvls. To me la. Either that, still kinda stunned at their surroundings. So cantik, feels like a I can sit in front of monitor and look into the beautiful made up scenery for hours. LOL Which design of the game are meant for casual gamer? |

QUOTE Final Fantasy XIV continues to lose players and now SE's CEO Yoichi Wada admits that the game is unsatisfactory and they are losing players' trust. But Yoichi Wada quotes the sales volume to tell people that FFXIV isn't a failure and the PS3 version will release in March of 2011 as the plan and he thinks that FFXIV can regain players' trust and make salvation, but how? They've extended the free trial and even provided free-to-play version in the internet cafes in Japan, and they've released several patches but looking from the picture below, players just left. ![]() Source from mmosite. QUOTE(poipoy @ Nov 8 2010, 01:50 PM) I've already left the game, waiting for it to be polished. At the moment, there's no goal in the game, and this doesn't motivate me to train my character. Maybe will see you all again after a few months The Afterlife leader disbanded the LS. I can't even find his character in Lodestone. So that must mean he deleted his character.PS: btw, where's afterlife site gone to? wanna leave a msg there but seems like the homepage is gone Couldn't ask him what happened. I wonder if he quits FFXIV or migrate to other server with different character name. |
