ahhh idk which to choose!! gtx460 or 5870! (Please i aint getting 6770, until it's has 6870)

Not sure.. dont have monitor program to monitor my gpu..but from what i read from some site ATI Xfire is not optimize for FFXIV
they have issue where the workload is not balance where you get 60% on one card and 20% on another...which cause in game
picture flickering and movie flickering too(i previously have this problem too..but no more problem after i flash my gc bios)

lol ic kinda want 100% gpu so i can turn on ambient occulusion since if i turn it on it still only use same amount only my fps drop in half ; ;

i heard hd6000 is delayed but 6870 will come out first as usual top end card comes first then mid then low end last for every gc on the market.

i think better get nvidia if u have the budget.
Ati Driver support sux althought their spec is good and performance on chart look nice
but in real life alot of minor problem which cause u to go around to find for solution
and it take awhile for them to patch their bug

Not sure for desktop..cause mostly i read about is regarding mobile
cause im using laptop

O forget to add..most of the problem occur when you using more then 1 card

i... haven't had any problem since i bought this card. so not sure why you are saying that. and i have played many games with this card, all smooth for me.

I wonder why people kept defending the game and saying it is great and then chase away others who commented about the problems of the game.

The few problems mentioned over and over in reviews and forums are there. It is really there and it is a fact. Then all the fans doesn't want to admit it and blinded. They kept thinking this is a masterpiece and a great game.

Well if SE behaves in such way, then they won't improve the game because like most of the fans, thy think their game is so great and flawless. Please, we commented not because we hate the game. We love the game but disappointed with the game with so much potential yet delivered badly.

Some said it is super new and fresh game so problems are suppose to be there. Unless SE is super new in gaming and mmorpg industry, they shouldn't have missed out BASIC flaws and problems which even FREE BETA mmorpg manages to think of. We don't do the same mistake all over again as if they never make any game/mmorpg before.

I like the game but at this moment it is in a very bad shape. I agree with what gamespot said. Clear your mind and don't be so defensive and read/watch the reviews. You will see that THERE ARE PROBLEMS NEED TO BE SOLVED. Don't chase people away with arrogant comments.

SE needs more subscribers and I don't think they make the game just to please the hardcores. Everything is up to SE now. My friends are quitting and some are laughing at me for paying for such game. Even worst after gamespot 4/10 reviews and soon more bad reviews popping out all with same issues. Yet fans denied such issues exists...

have to face the truth se hasnt been that great lately front mission wasnt that good too.....

i only manage to play 1 hr or so everyday for ff14 then its sc2 or other games

I will laugh at them if they play those Free For Life Chinese Game......

Are these indeed friends? We all have our own hobbies/interests. No one should ever laugh at a person's choice of interest.

Well i didnt face any problem playing FFXIV.. ive been playing for 3day about 3hour a day...only dced once during that 3 day of playing

Oh dont worry, i agree with what gamespot says, because what it is now is there, and yes i see it, but like i say is utter stupid to judge a game that only came out a week, if its a single player game, i would also be on rage, but is an MMO. is different.

Added on October 8, 2010, 11:44 amI dont know what you are trying to say here alv, but i dont think we all are that arrogant to chase ppl out. and aside, if you like to play the game, why bother with ppl who laugh at you playing it? It's norm for new MMO release, even WoW has its problem when it was initial release, the first 6 month of WoW was crazy and terrible. That is why i dont really care much on the first 6 month of any MMO.

One day after few months, i would be able to say this held my head up high " Im glad to be able to see the revolution of FFXIV, its has gone up and down, and im glad i stayed to watch it grow."

That what im thinking now. The game will be polish, but not at the 1st week. sheesh. chill and wait for the game to be polish, if you cant stand to play.. i advice wait it out til PS3 then only you come back to play.

Yup I am still playing. Hoping to see what is coming from SE.

My friends are mostly MMORPG hardcores. They are not really final fantasy fans so it is difficult to convince them to buy the game and play at this moment.

Wait when things gets better. They were interested but after it released it is a let down.

I wonder SE developers read reviews? Or they are still happy and proud with ffxiv like most of the fanboys claiming this is the best mmorpg...

Check the official website, known issues are just several macro issues and Market problems which highlighted even in beta, a month ago?

I still playing and waiting for REAL official release next year as this game is meant for PS3 release. I am paying to be their beta tester for a better FFxIV.

They are not really hardcore enough, FFXI is too hardcore. FFXIV is a bit casual than FFXI hardcore =\

and yes, they do read, if not they wont come out a statement to reviewers not to review it yet. I can say your friend is hardly a hardcore MMORPGS. is totally different.

I do agree with you. Exactly what i experienced. I'm a fanboy of FF series too i guess, played every series since nintendo era. In the beginning, kept finding reasons/giving excusses for SE on issues of the game, but now, I'll just admit it's a total failure (For this moment that is). When a player can't easily enjoy the richness of the game due to simple issues that exist ( For me the most hated issues now are UI laggy-ness and no quick short cut for inventory, stat, etc), one can only tolerate so much until one has to open eyes and see that it is flawed. Honestly, I cannot find enjoyment right now (I'm speaking only for my own that is). I'll just log in 1-2 hour to clear some leve, so that my char is still progressing and not left too too far behind when everything is polished in the future(hopefully within 3 months time)

I hope that I didn't offend anyone, my rant is just for myself, on how i feel toward an FF Numbered game which I always love, but didn't met my level of anticipation. Many friends of mine went back to FFXI, I was quite surprise actually, since most of us already quit for 1-2yrs. Mostly are to feel what's it like reaching the new cap levels, but actually, many went back XI to get their assurance on squareenix that XIV will be polished to a great game like XI now.

oh well, i'm getting off topic..
