Agent Nicole: The Buddy Pass is an actual registration code to the game so you are able to continue the game on the Buddy Pass as long as you pay for the account.

meaning that all buddy pass just need to continue paying the game if he/she wish to continue pl;aying, so yes, buddy pass is an actual account.

for those who has buddy pass, dont buy the game, if you want to continue playing, just pay.

for the extra, i think buddy pass too is entitled. more info pls direct your question to customer service.

FFXIV host their servers in JPN, you will get a good ping here. Lag is norm in crowded area. EU/NA/JPN play in same server, so you will not notice any decrease in player base as one side go sleep, the other wake up, and vice versa.

hehe buddy pass is the same as our actual account, the person can just pay the monthly subscription to continue playing with the character so this mean is a free account key, no need to buy new game to get key, just use buddy key to play on, and if register before 25th will get to play for extra 30-days = 60 days game time.

Dont worry no rush here, enjoy the game to the fulness, getting to the end is not what we should do now, this is not end game game.
