Do wanna ask, how does the 1000 free minutes works? It doesnt care how many that you reload in a month but that free minutes only come once a month, right? So how to check when is the date they will add on the new free minutes?

they will force you to reload rm30 when buying the package.
to prevent people from buying for phone only and porting the sim

if you still want that type of phone, try hotlink
their terms and conditions say rm150 only. no need rm30 topup

but better you go for digi phone a526
rm220 only, free sim (dunno if must topup rm30)
and the phone is far better than the crappy ones above.

Just sharing a bad experience with digi prepaid.

For me, using a prepaid is about managing the cost of using mobile call charges and i guess fir many otgers as well.

Can u imagine a telco taking advantage of users ignorance and forcing people to pay ludicrious amounts and getting away with it?

As many maybe aware, most telcos now offer free usage for prepaid on whats apps and wechat. Digi offers this as well. Very thoughtful .

But can u imagine one fine day when u need to send an urgent mail and u subscribe for a weekly or monthly internet plan?

After the period DiGi will automatically renew ur subacription if tgere is adequate amiubts for them to deduct. Should u not have adequate the system doesn't revert u to the free usage wgich u were entitled to earlier but to a pay as u use charging system.

there ur trying to save on prepaid but they kick you in the butt with their terms and conditions .

Got charged twice for pay per use after i reload. But what i am peezed is tge digi personnel told me tgat regardless if any data was used as long as i had my mobile data active it will charge me . It has charged me rm8 a day twice after reloading.

I felt cheated as i reloaded at 11.05 . Tgere was a cobfirmarion saying success on reload and immediately followed by abotger sms at 11.05 to say my data usage has reached rm3.

is this even possible? How can i make a complaint to MCMC?

I have a hotlink too. When i actiavtely a weekly data plan, they wont renew automatucaloy even when i have credit. And when tge plan expires tge revery to the old free usage for wexhat n whatapps. Not pay as u use .

I think digi shuould sack the manager who came out with tgis plan. So stupid .

just because i need to use excess data for one time in digi , i either have to c9ntinue using it or get into a more expensive plan later.

The best scenario now for me is to chabge my no to a new number to get back the original free wexhat n whats app.

Is DiGi tryingbto say tgey are insensitive to users or tgeir system is not as good as other telcos

1. only a few Telco offer free usage for we chat and WhatsApp
BUT you must be subscribed to a data plan

2. only hotlink offer free internet all the time
BUT you Cannot buy extended validity
you wanna use 30 days, you must topup rm30

3. always always always turn off mobile data if you're not subscribed to any plan, or your plan expired, or failed to renew because not enough credit

with 3g and 4g speed, your reload will be gone in less than a minute if you use data without subscribing
biggest culprits are digi and celcom.

4. you probably can't complain to mcmc. as you said it yourself, it's in their tNc

by the way, what digi plan are you on?
