You bought G5?

I try edit last time, it seem can...........i did not use it now

i am still in the dilemma on this issues, if i turn on the data connections, i cannot resist to us the fb,market and so on. iam also afraid all the "ads" will suck on my bills later on, or unintentionally using the internet.

until now i still unable to sent or receive mms. i checked under the phone info (using the secret code on fp) it shows that my GPRS is always disconnected.

ok, i will try it out tomorrow using my bro's line send mms to me.
cz sup line, so no charge, jz wanna test if mms is working if mobile connection is off.

besides, i m wondering y so many ppl cant use their mss.
my mms jz working very fine, never have any issue.
my line is digi and i do subscribe to data plan (unlimited 68).

you activate or deactivate data connection?

i just got setting just only for mms...doesnt need worry about our credit because of syn with fb or with other apps at internet....



after that untick use only 2g networks...than tick enable always on mobile...

means that all of u can use mms without worried the internet bill...

because the enable always on mobile only on 3g/h to sent and receive mms...

if want saves battery...after sent...tick back use only 2g networks...

anyone have other setting than this??? share2 with us...

i using celcom uox...my rate mms rm0.20/mms...student lol...the most cheaper package

p/s: anyone try that plz see ur balance after sent mms...if reduce so much that means ur hp still can access internet without we knowing it...

exp: after sent mms...rm1.51...than i just wait i few minute...my credit balance rm.0.81

before sent...my balance rm1.71...

been playing around with my music player and i can see there are some song with name like bgm_****.
one example is bgm_KanyeWest_Paranoid.. All these are default from my phone as i didn't add them in..
anyone know where all these song sits in? Thanks.

Downloaded the Papago X5, but how to use it...I mean to search the road name and use the gps to instruct for direction...never use a gps before...

As for papago, anyone know whether the option to find our current coordinate possible in X5?
been playing around with it, seem not able to find this option.. I need this so that i can send the coordinate of interesting place to my frens..

Papago not support to show coordinate............try others apps like GPS test

Any earpieces/earphones/headphones with a 3.5mm jack will work on the G5. Most of them ARE 3.5mm. BTW didn't know my setting actually works >.< . I was randomly exploring around.

As per request The Making of Goolge Offline Maps

1. Download the Mobile Atlas Creator 1.75

2. Extract and Run the Mobile Atlas Creator.exe at PC (Java Enviroment installed in PC needed, JRE or JDK, you may download it herehttp://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp)

3. Choose "Map Source" = "Google Maps"

4. Choose "Zoom Level", the higher level the more zooming and details of the map, but the map's size will larger
(recommend 0-16 or 0-17)

5. Choose "Atlas Settings" = "Big Planet Tracks SQLite"

6. Highlight the selection map (right click to move the map, left click for selection)
*Dont select the map by too large area, recommend 1-2 state will do

7. Choose "Atlas Content" - "Add Selection"



8. Press "Create Atlas" - It will take some time to download the maps to your PC, depend the internet connection speed



9. After downloading finished, press "Open Atlas Folder", a file "BigPlanet_maps.sqlitedb" can be found

10.Copy to SDCARD/RMaps/maps/Big Planet Tracks.sqlitedb
(you can rename "Big Planet Tracks.sqlitedb" to "AnyNameYouWant.sqlitedb")

11. Download the apps "RMaps" from Android Market

12. Run and choose "Big Planet Tracks.sqlitedb" in RMaps
(More => Settings => User defined maps => [choose a map] => Enabled map)
