here for your reference, might can help

Do remember, G5's GPS unable lock satellite in indoor, pls test it outdoor

1.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use Wireless Networks(always keep tick)
2.Go to "Setting" - Location & Security - Use GPS Satellite (always keep tick)
3.Go to Android market download and install the apps "GPS Booster"
4.Restart phone
5.Go to outdoor (without tall building surrounding within 100m)
6.Open Papago

1st 1-3 times might need longer locking time, later will get better and better

Optional : You can download "GPS Test" at Android market to view the satellite connection status

Hi guys. Newbie here.

Just got my galaxy 5 some 1 - 2 weeks back for RM700 (with screen protector). Could have gotten it cheaper but didn't want the hassle of visiting low yat.

Anyway, am happy with the phone thus far.

But need some taikor's expert help. How can I save apps in the sd card rather than the phone memory??

Anyone know where to buy cheap and good G5 car holder and charger?

Kids at my kampung play with G5. Now the phone is completely locked. The phone want my e-mail and password. But when ever i enter my password and e-mail it says it's invalid. has try so many times..... now kena hard reset.

I think you should send to any Samsung dealer

Which part is locked?
the sliding pattern security lock?

try these method first..........
1. check your gmail see whether got unlock code
2. key in your gmail login name, pass key in "null"
3. finally hard reset, press and hold "Home" button then switch on the phone, choose wipe data

I already key in my correct gmail addres and password so many time with my 3g on. But it keep showing invalid username/ password. And i do not got such email.

The fb sync tat you did right, which field did the application sync ?
Is it contact number ? name ? or email etc.

I think its the same wif me too... I charged my phone cant remember but i remember it is enough like,12 more hours?
Where suddenly,my alarm did not rang,and i woke up late -.- and open my phone,it is off?!?!? i on it and it close back,later i charge,find edi....

but the fb details mostly has not include contact number, you can link it to your contact number in phone book

yes

nop nothing happen after inserting null as password, turn it off, the hold home button while turning it on.

Thats another way to rescue, but quite leceh.................

1. Use other phone call to your G5
2.The "other phone" hang up, in the same time G5 keep pressing the "Home" key
3. Retry step 1-3 if failed, it have chance to success

4.Keep activate your screen, dont let the screen off
Setting - Sound & Display - Screen Timeout - Never Timeout
5.Use PC online register a new gmail account
6.Phone, Setting - Account & Sync - Remove gmail account
7. Account & Sync - create new gmail account in phone using step 5's "new gmail acc"
8. Account & Sync - Sync gmail account
9. Restart phone, login with new gmail account login and pass
