Hi SG5 gang,
I got a question/issue with my sg5. The clock seems not to update after a while. Need to press or touch the screen to update the time.
This has caused my morning alarm not sounding off.

Any ideas?

Try create a new gmail account, old gmail account unable login

What I done

1. Download Papago X5 from AppPlanet (b market)
2. Download the custom map from malfreemaps and follows the step above
3. When open papago, it goes 'Papago initial...' then crash

Try
Setting - Date & Time - Automatic (untick)
restart phone

Yeah, I'm having the same problem as well... Only updates the time once press on the screen.

I never try the applanet's papago version, my version is working well.........same with others G5 user too

and this papago good or not if compare to garmin???never use papago before...

and does papago got Jack Sparrow version or not??

lol. if the price really rm99, might buy it later but if the official map is crap then
currently downloading.

My setting is like that. But will try to redo again.

3.application that would make my phone even more faster but not darining the battery much.

Thats not crap map for papago............
Papago map create team is same with Garmin, they are from malfreemap.com

official map might outdated, everyone using malfreemap

ya the malfreemaps community maps of course good. used it last time with winmo garmin
but if I buy, sure want to use official map, but if its outdated, better use the dl version app

1.Default launcher is TouckWiz3.0, you can use 3rd party launcher like Launcher Pro, ADW Launcher, AHome Launcher, etc................but beware that 3rd party launcher might a battery killer
2.Refer to first post in
3.Not available, run faster battery drain faster, you can try the "ATK" to kill the unwanted apps to save battery but it seem not so effective
4.Me 2-3 days, not heavy user

can the phone still fit in the Melkco flip case after put on the epik case? as the photo of the product shown is without any case...

Added on November 11, 2010, 11:12 amtry restart your phone. this happened to me before, but it gets back normal after i restart my phone. probably to many apps running behind, not enough memory just like a computer

ok finally got my papago working.
still need the apk from AppPlanet though.
just the file for NaviSEA I need to download.

ive been using garmin quite a while with my winmo phone. sadly theres no garmin for android atm. papago is not bad either. i personally like the smooth arrow movement in papago compared to garmin. hehehe..
