iFVPA - International Update
Since the Official Announcement for the iFVPA Project we have seen a lot of interest! I would like to reiterate a few points about the project to stop any confusion.
1. The iFVPA Project is an ongoing initiative, it is not one time Tournament. The initial phase is to put into place Managers for the long term. Xbox International Managers are selected and report to FVPA Kelley - PS3 International Managers are selected and report to FVPA Phil
2. Managers are free to take applications or call up players. Unfortunately Managers can't recruit everyone so if you don't make selection in the initial phase, make sure your knocking on the Managers door next time they are looking.
3. Friendlies will be organised between Countries with home and away legs, the purpose of this is to gain information on connection, lag etc, as their will be players from all over the World.
4. Players Applying must have their Nationality field correctly filled in failure to do so will render them not eligible to participate in any Competitive Matches. All Players must be registered on the FVPA Forum.
5. Managers have been asked to take a dim view on any players who's conduct on or off the pitch is not in keeping with the Forum Guidelines. Arguments between International teams on the FVPA Forums will not be tolerated. You will be representing your Country and the FVPA.
6. Managers decisions are Final, if you are not happy with a decision you should discuss this with your Manager in private. The Manager will then decide if it should be up for public discussion.
7. The use of iFVPA International Team Graphics is not permitted to anyone not signed to an International Squad
The iFVPA will be promoted as the Virtual Pro equivalent of International Football.
If you have any Questions regarding the iFVPA Project please feel free to ask. Team specific Questions must be directed to the relevant International Manager.
Many Thanks
Kelley

"How does it Work"
Managers will be selected on their knowledge of the Community, maybe a current club Manager or Staff Member of the FVPA. Once they are in place for each Country, their job will be to build a Squad of Players that want to compete at a higher level and really play for their Country with a sense of pride! Managers will also be looking for players that conduct themselves in a professional manner on and off the pitch.
Established Communities that have already signed up with the iFVPA and will be taking part in the initial phase of friendlies are The FVPA representing 4 Nations on both Xbox and PS3, FIVP representing Italy on Xbox and PS3, FFC representing France on the PS3 and FIFACTION representing France on the Xbox. The iFVPA are also on the lookout for other Nations and are in contact with Spanish and German Communities to name a couple.
It is important that anyone wishing to be selected has filled out the Nationality field correctly within the user control panel. Once a player has played for an iFVPA International team in a friendly or competitive match they will be locked in and will not be able to play for any other nation.
"Club Protection"
If you are a player who is called up you must seek the permission of your current Club Manager to be released for any Pre Friendly / Competition Warm-up Session’s. Club Managers may PM International Managers if they have any concerns over the use of their players.
