To all reno sifus, I wanna ask how much is the price of doing this simple plaster ceiling. My room space is about 65ft, it is about a size of a living room

taste is subjective...but u r quite right. light trough might be better (cornice can be designed in modern concept)

Yes, for contemporary interior design, cornice just looks weird. However I am going for modern country. So I should bring some classic feel. Contemporary just way too common.

Light trough may look nice in the beginning but it collects dust and you waste $$ on lighting since your lights are partially blocked.

65 feet or 65 square feet? i'm adding cornice for 5 rooms total RM 6++.....it this a fair price in Penang? hmm.gif

i agreed, taste is very subjective. some people like modern contemporary, classic, etc... tongue.gif

i myself prefer modern classic. a simple design cornice with CT Wood in the middle...wooden look...

they use T5 tubes (more expensive), some ppl use lampu kalimantang = T8

I did some dropcornice ( i dont why they add 'drop' to it)
$7 fr.. Mainly just to cover beam.
