I think we all have recently played in NA region server. What are your thoughts bout the players there ?
Do they like to cheese or tech or rush or etc .....your opinions please !! Are they better than SEA players ??

In the games i played, they like to tech alot tho, no cheesing yet.
Before i judge others, Chii not too good, only platinum in SEA, but i do get that they like to tech without any forces.

The player pool in NA region is too big.....hence, there alot strong and weak player.....So far, Meet alot of weaker diamond player since im gold =,=" ....able to win/lose fairly

i noticed that there are now few of my frenlist who is online on SEA server. Maybe most of them bz playing in NA server? hmm

i purposely lose all 5 of my placement, then drone rush them once i m Bronze league and i still manage to win 3 out 5 by Drone rushing them with my Zerg race(work till Gold league player). That how bad they are. But i have to admit NA have a much bigger pool of player.

instead of drone rush.. i suggest u do probe rush..
exactly until 10 probes (use chrono boost), go attack them..

i wish my 4v4 bronze isnt infested with 4x diamond player teams when my side is kinda playing 2-3 vs 4 considering their league

lol well i did beat 2 diamond ranked teams during my 3s haha...
seriously when i random and i get terran (my other 2 teammate is terran) its just total roflstomp!
one of the games was 3 terran vs 3 zerg and boy that was ez

overall NA players play tonnes of games (was shocked at their avatars) but skill wise i would say SEA players are much better up to the plat lvl...
diamond lvls are half half as i've seen much better diamond players over at SEA as well...

so i guess both side are even in terms of skill now...

im actually more shocked at SEA players games played amount lol. skillwise, considering the diamonds ive seen (can be forum sigs and games played on SEA and vista lasik) on SEA vs NA, id say NA definitely better wwww

of course, thats not to say there arent terribad diamonds in NA too, cuz there are.

there's tonnes of SEA players that grind ladders while some prefer to focus on custom games...
my fren is number 53 ranked in SEA with a 109-49 record and he spend most of his time playing custom games with us or team games...

considering the levels of customs games in SEA vs NA, thats also where i based my opinions on.

ive even seen profiles (multiples, yes) in NA that has ZERO leagues played and all customs.

when i mean custom games i meant more towards 1v1 practice matches (usually we koth over the night)

if you mean that, the same can apply to NA too so its kinda moot point lol

nowadays i only go US for desert strike as my frens having some lag issues (i can feel slight delay at times bt ntg serious)

i totally love the time slow/nuke rain in desert strike lawl

toss's ulti is really fun and zerg's one is a lagfest...
whenever i cast it, i can see pop up of ppl lagging LOL

i notice that, destroying supply depots, pylons n overlords help win early game rushes alot....n most games i played NA players were on the defensive side.

NA players...cant comment much on them since i just started NA server...

Btw, met tons of cheesy rushes like VR, Reaper, 6pool and when they failed the cheese, they just left the game instantly ==" i dont even have the chance to counter attack~

I think i have a theory on why NA users got many super noob players..

The game there is damn cheap, hence people who is not a fan of sc2 also will buy the game.

well mostly it's due to the player pool there are so big compare to SEA...

i've managed to get to plat wif a nice record...
managed to beat a few diamonds there...
but when in SEA, i got terribly raped by diamonds T_T

they play more to standard n tech...doesn't really face lots of rush or timing early push like in SEA...
but tats 12 games there oni...nit to play more to learn more

their achievement point is low compare to SEA player (mb most of them i meet are from SEA) lol

i guess u need to wait till ur rating goes much higher.
kinda easy to reach platinum there in NA.
i can say average platinum there like a hi-gold player here.

@our evening = their midnite ....i wonder do they got frustated while playing with us lol ......any1 tried play during mid nite? ->after 1am

i think 24 hours also got ppl playin since the server has so many players inside...

WTB desert strike in SEA

The best thing about playing in NA server is that u don't have to wait that long in custom game especially after 12am.
I use NA server to practice custom games..

i think majority of the players there are like that. Fought a diamond who didn't even scout me. =.=

Hm, gotta agree their platinum don't seem so tough compared to SEA. I nearly got 7pooled to death by a zherk. But he eased off and allowed me to expand after his rush failed. lol.

but in SEA i am in bronze lol. even i have over 100win.

NA diamonds beatable, SEA diamonds very hard to even survive against. up to date only killed 2-3 diamonds in SEA.
NA diamonds killed already like 4 in 10 games.

and i hate zerg

the reason is because those are low diamonds and they have more players than SEA if i am not mistaken, the higher na players know what to do n when to execute their strategies..

Personally, I think if you want to improve, just play in SEA server for the time being. Even high platinum players are pretty tough to beat at times, not even mentioning diamond ones.

In NA server can see your improvement easily....in SEA server.....for diamond/plat league.....the difference in strength between high diamond and low diamond/plat is freaking big....

NA server story

TvT in the 50 practice league. I rushed his base with my 5 banshee, alternating between his main and expension. Mainly for practicing micro. His built was solid, there is huge MMM. i fly around and takes out all his tanks in case of counter attack.

Transition into Thor with scv. When i was moving out he suddenly came from behind crushing my armies and he won. Then he starts swearing

to be frank, i was fearing SEA back then due to the possible retarded players but i guess the game's high price keep that in check...
NA server has more retards than i thought since beta...

in the case of custom games, id rather NA and actually get to play a variety of custom games, over SEA lack of. not that ive played much SEA customs to face the retards and mouth breathers

hmmm generally i find SEA players to be nicer in custom games but again it lacked good custom games...
i dun remember being raged at over at SEA for ladder either...

NA server i guess some players do really have big big ego...

I seldom meet any ragers when on SEA. They just quit and that's it.
Some rage at me for being a noob in TD games, as I was playing it for the first time for that map. Understandable though...

Playing on NA, I do get ragers when playing desert strike, colonial line wars and battlecraft. Not that it matters since it basically feels like people calling you a hacker when you keep head shotting them in CS.

Basically for ragers, think we should just apply the Law of the Garbage Truck. Many people are garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they dump it on you. So don't take it personally.

Wish them well and move on.
