BTW the installation a bit different from sygic 9.. jus copy the map and res folder into n900, install the deb file, and go to xterminal to activate the patxxx...

I went to app manager and failed to installed the deb. then go to xterminal found out that it crashes with the world map. after deleted it then was able to install it.
**remember to backup ur saved POI**

i forgot to backup the POI now everything gone.. cry.gif

HAHAHAH !! wont lah !! i OCed to 1150 Mhz b4 leh !!
it jz the MAX frequency to achieve during process running.. but when u aint run any program, will AUTO downclock to 125 or 250 Mhz.. so don worry~ wink.gif

like sifu zdentws said it only goes max when u are running heavy application. when idle it will go back down to 250mhz or 125mhz

wow .. both of you are dare devil in OC!! I'll try 900mhz for safety.. I've notice N900 drain the BL-5J battery quite fast , anyone here hav solution for that? Higher capacity battery? external battery?

Touchscreen wo is like tat. U cant run. If u wan better battery life u can get external battery pack but problem charging still slow 500mAh

u can try 900 Mhz.. but u gotta find which frequency suits yr baby.. i OCed to few frequencies b4.. the found 850 Mhz suits me cz my baby can last for 2 days with this frequency.. enjoy ! laugh.gif

i was thinking of using two BL-5J battery for lesser cost and trouble but cant find anyone selling BL-5J battery charger stand or does it even exist sleep.gif

N900's ARM Cortex A8 procesor can be clocked till 1150MHz safely.But at 1150MHz you'll feel little warm.Anything lower than 1GHz is just fine.

i saw BL-5J battery.. around rm110+- ... forgot the price la.. bout charger stand, nvr seen any~

me i carry nokia 5800XM and Nokia N900 and guess wat both share the same battery so if N900 battery kaput guess wats next icon_rolleyes.gif

its not since its u been always sifu. Whoever have the habit to share is sifu di. Soon i wont be often around here so u be the sifu di haha i not sifu
