Let me share with u all, a way to cook good food, use little gas and is ideal for busy ppl like me never see sun one..

Use thermal cooker...I invest around RM500 to buy this ..buy during sale..the concept simple only..

Make soup, porridge, read bean tong sui, etc

1. Throw all in the pot. Closed the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes using gas fire.

2. Put the pot into outer insulated container...and it continue to cook the whole day without using any gas or electricity..it is hot and warm when u eat that time

It usually takes 4-5 hrs, rice become porridge...

I usually cook midnight dump everything in, morning can eat porridge already...

So if make soup also same morning cook, night time come back can drink soup already...lunch time actually the soup also ready,,can drink too..

how did I eat?

morning
1. Go offis got free either one of this curry/ sardine bun, cakes, biscuit, etc . They rotate can take 1 or 2 in the morning. Drink Milo, White Coffee, Cappucino, etc for free at cafe

lunch
1. Company give RM50 to swipe for food per month. finish the RM50 ownself need to pay. Company give 1-2 free fruit per day.

Tea
1. Eat maggi or drink mushroom soup, eat biscuit, etc. Company give yippie

Dinner,
1. Using the thermos cooker like magic lo...can do so many good food..very cheap...can even cook bak kut teh

That did not happen to me bought the property with my own money. I paid almost 40% downpayment.

You just gotta have to make sure your earning power moves faster than inflation.

I dont save the money in bank account per se, but invest it for good returns. From the returns become my dp.

Do you know that a wedding registration is almost free? You just need 2 friends as saksi...

The grandeur is the wedding dinner... subsidised by ang pows.

One of the worse wasteful spending is having a wall-size portrait photo of the couple... normally hang above the bed in the bedroom... so only the couple get to see it after the wedding day... could you imagine facing the same wedding photo day after day. Another wasteful spending is hiring a video photographer... see video only once, nobody wants to see it again... don't dream that the grandchildren would be interested!

Come on lah, it all depends on what you want. I am in jakarta and there are plenty of 100k  to 150k apartments around the city centre.

Of course there is also 2 mil condo near kuningan, central park, senayan and gated community which land only cost 10k per m2.

It all depends on your expectation.s. if you only earn so much dont expect the sun and moon.

I also scratch head till bald thinking how my dad a hawker can make it..He the other day offer me RM3K salary help him sell soyacincau in a van, work 6 days a week, 10 hours a day..

Hmm....not bad too consider new graduate 3 yrs experience also earn RM1.7K...almost double oledi the salary

my dad friend a foreman - his son study medical....his father don;t encourage son study one- he did not even pay a single sen for his son study, yet his son is brilliant enough to get a scholoarship in UM. Pack wih a backpack he enter UM sleep the night at the bus stand outside enroll the next day. After done is medical degree at UM, he got an offer to be surgeon go Ireland further studies with bonding to Malaysia govt. He finish his studies in Ireland no come back malaysia and pay back govt for breaking the bond....he did sent back money to his father a foreman and ask him retire..

that is why my dad see this,,he knows cannot send son go oversea....lost a son after tat...
my dad don;t invest all in Ipoh ..Got investment in Penang, Ipoh, KL, Johor....From North to south...oledi mention ma he bought a condo in KL last year end around RM500K..

He got oil palm estate too...bought when cheap that time..

RM100k possible when wan ton mee is RM1 a bowl..My dad bought a shop at Bercham Ipoh main road at that time at that price...I think it is very long time ago la...Now a bowl wan ton mee in Ipoh cost RM3 min.  small one maybe RM2.50

i bought apartment penang for RM230k in 2008, now worth 500k ...Not bad..
