IOI is like the centre of Puchong and the area is really huge. Depend on where you want to be. My place is south side of puchong.

So to conclude
Terrace : Same shape & look except for corner unit with gap between back to back house > car width
Link house: A B A B shape with width of the hse <22 ft
SuperLink: Hse width >22 ft

Thanks

Half of your statement is right but, if u focus on width it is call superwide (24X70), or if you focus on long it is superlong (22X80), actually superlink is any link house (the 2 houses with the roof looked like combine into one) that is bigger than standard 22X70, the standard size is 22X70.

So anything that have bigger in buildup more than 22X70 can be called superlink, example 24x70, or 22X80 also superlink.

in the past a 24X80 link house was small because semi d and bungalows were much bigger like 60X100 or bigger. nowadays 20X70 link house also considered big size because sacrifice car porch for build up area and not cheap. so to differentiate bigger sizes marketers add the word super.

nowadays got tiny semi d and bungalows also, not much bigger than super link so the name start to make more sense although essentially it is a link house.

BK7 Rimbun 1 20 x 70 is considered superlink by agents (1961 BU) -.- I think recent superlinks would include Sime Darby's Putra Heights' house and iirc, Cyberjaya superlinks.

A bungalow sounds better than a detached.

A semi d sounds better than a half bungalow/detached.

in the old days people used to have gardens and entertain outdoors, house parties meant bbq, satay, caterer and tables and chairs outside.

this was common before aircon was popular, at night outside is cooler.

nowadays people tile up the garden, turn on the aircon and enjoy big living room and dry kitchen.

i still prefer big porch because can park more cars, very important for bigger families. wide is better than long though long has advantage like distance from road.

also one problem with short porch is when upstairs you cant really see who is downstairs at the gate, long porch no problem.

Agreed with what you said. The reason why houses that are facing other houses are not as hot as the ones facing an empty space/ side of another corner house etc, to increase the amount of parking spaces whenever someone happens to visit.
