i had an interesting observation about the rating of N8 .

when there where 1Lakh votes, rating where approximately 8.4 for all.
But now after 1.11Lakh votes , rating is 7.7.

total point count after 100000 votes = 840000
total point count after 111197 votes = 856216

Difference in votes for 11197 = 16216

Effective rating given in the last 11197 votes = 1.44

so clearly somebody is giving rating 1 for all regularly.

( I obserevd the same when rating came down to 8.6 from 9.2 )

I'm sick of people giving bad reviews to this phone when it hasn't been released yet. Every assumption you have made is completely wrong. The symbian^1 operating system has been outdated recently and compared to android and apple yes it's been way behind. But Symbian^3 is here to change all that. The new symbian now has caught up with the features of both apple and android and added a few more. How can you write off a device if you've not used the finished product. Symbian^3 is the answer many dissapointed nokia fans have been looking for. As for criticism of the hardware, 680mhz processor is slower than 1ghz as seen in apple and android devices, but the fact is symbian is designed to run on more energy efficient hardware and as such doesn't require as much processing power. The n8 also has a graphics accelerator ontop of the 680mhz processor, where as the other devices with 1ghz processors don't and they need that extra processing speed to handle the graphics. As for apps, apple has certainly changed the way we think about apps and how we use smart phones, but having a library of thousands of useless apps doesn't make the the iphone any better than the n8. There are heaps of apps available for symbian, they are just not located on the ovi-store. Most of the apps that are on the ovi store are atleast useful and not gimmicky rubbish created by apple fanboys. As for the pricing of the device, here in Australia the price is actually cheaper than an iphone 4 and similar spec android smart phones so I don't know where you get your figures.

E7 only available January 2011, according delayed of N8, maybe E7 will only arrive end of august 2011 ..... , so..... untill now still no comfirm release date for N8 ??
