QUOTE(BuFung @ Oct 4 2010, 11:48 AM) let me know by the time u wanna let go.. thanks... hehehe the hw reset can't be by pass as it's hardwired... the only thing they can alter would be a boot up autolock... then dam this app will be EXTREAM dangerous if u forget the setting.... QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 6 2010, 12:15 AM) Nokia N8 Compression Module Hacked! – Smooth 30FPS video and 11MB 12MP noise reduced images. for the jpeg 12MP compression hack, that's sure gonna use it... but for the 30fps video hack might wait and see more result before heading into it... btw great hack from the modder... so early stage already dig into the device liao.... http://mynokiablog.com/2010/10/05/nokia-n8...reduced-images/ From 1~2mb compression per image, it become 11mb after mod And recording from 25fps now 30fps source: http://thehandheldblog.com/2010/10/05/the-...andheld+Blog%29 Added on October 6, 2010, 9:27 amfuyooo.... panorama from the 12MP (extra apps needed) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « sos: http://blog.gsmarena.com/nokia-n8-gets-a-p...norama-feature/ This post has been edited by sklchan: Oct 6 2010, 09:31 AM |

QUOTE(Leo the Lion @ Oct 6 2010, 09:48 AM) It's a blind test, N8 could be A, B or C. no.. what i try to say isBut looking at people comment, Pixon12 use 30mm while N8 use 28mm, so N8 could be C or B. Anyway, it's good that GSMArena make this blind test regardless brand loyalty photo set no#1, A=N8, B=Pixon, C=Sony (example) photo set no#2, A=Pixon, B=Sony, C=N8 (example) if you check each set of photos, sometimes the C not represent the best capture... hehe, base on my eyes...
soo difficult to see every details as those photos focus seem like not all exact the same some blur here some blur there... also the white balance as well... Set 1 = B > C > A Set 2 = B > A > C Set 3 = B > A > C Set 4 = B > C > A Set 5 = C > B > A Set 6 = C > B > A Set 7 = C > A > B Set 8 = C > A > B Added on October 6, 2010, 10:34 am QUOTE(BuFung @ Oct 6 2010, 10:30 AM) it is pretty hard to judge which better than which... coz A & B less noise because of it aggressive of noise reduction... C noisy at the same time preserve the detail so much better..... If u ask me choose, I will choose C there coz C still can use software to reduce noise to the A or B level.... the last 2 sets is quite easy... for noise reduction the C is the best as it keep all the detail (although got grain) but A is the best in macro shoot as u see the whole picture shape still retain, B is the worst as it's over noise reduction and the macro also out of shape... where A / B have no way back to C... ![]() This post has been edited by sklchan: Oct 6 2010, 10:34 AM |
