Clareen mentioned N8 officially released 10~11 October, and crazyguy152 mentioned Nokia Shop from his place said 9th October. And someone mentioned 12th October if I'm not mistaken. So could be 9~12th (probably peninsular Malaysia). Pirateguy (from east Malaysia) will get his N8 3rd week of October.   

I think sites like Gizmodo and Engadget have a little bit of nationalistic pride for the USA. That's why even Windows Phone 7 seems to be getting rave reviews about its interface even before it's released.

For me, the Windows Phone 7 OS doesn't impress. The Metro look with blue tiles is kind of dull. There's also no multi-tasking, no SDcard support, no Flash. But it's American, so I guess Gizmodo/Engadget tend to say nice things about it.

U should take N8 over ip4, why takr ip4 ovet SGS? Bcoz of the hype or trend?

totally not due to trend, and partly due to hype...actually i have been wanting to test on iOS for quite some time, but kinda dislike the previous gens for lacking of this and that on the hardware side...right now it seems like ip4 is the most 'complete' iphone so far, and digi is doing the promo for it, so i jsut sign up for the package bah..

But if you use iPhone 4, hard to switch back to other phones because of the MicroSIM card difference right?

most likely wont sell...after 1-2 months maybe i have too many paid apps to even let go of...haha

If combination of SGS and N8, u probably get the perfect phone in the world with much to explore IMO.

i'll try to support ori lar, cos a lot of apps from the appstore are actually smaller developer companies..need to support them to give them more growth..maybe they would have more funds and would be able to develop on other OS later on..
actually is just personal interest for me to try to have one phone per OS...it's to compare what are the pros and cons on each OS, and to know more about each OS when i use them

i know...actually i been waiting for digi's smart plan to bring in more phone, but it seems like the don bother anymore..believe me, i been hoping SGS to be in their list since it's out, but the waiting is too long..so i decided just get a iOS first, later when i got money maybe just see how things goes..right now don wanna get any new phones yet, since still just new...if i get another phone sure parents
