very old chipset. Let me recall what i can remember off

a) tricky to OC. U have to know what your doing
b) there are certain FSB 'blocks' that would not boot, however, if u straight away jump to the higher FSB 'block', it would POST and PASS orthos no problem.
c) there are cold boot issues, sometimes it will POST @ OC settings, sometimes it wont. u hav2 restart several times
d) you have manipulate Chipset voltage. Believe it or not, this is very tricky. It relates back to the FSB 'blocks'. The NV MCH is very very hot. you have to employ good cooling even @ default fsb.
e) in short, it's a lousy overclocker chipset. The NV6xx improved on the OC alot, but aso plague wit the above problems.

i would say, save your time, this chipset is OC limited.

Yes I Want To Lower The Multiplier And Raise The FSB.
But Heck,No Option For That.
Only Have FSB/MEM Tweak.
Increasing The FSB In The Bios Is Actually Increasing The RATED FSB In CPU-Z.
I Don't Know How To Change The FSB And Multiplier.
Is There Any Hidden Menu In Bios? Anyone Know?

Thank You Bro For This Reply.
So Far I Can Only Reach 1200 FSB.(Rated FSB In CPU-Z).
So Now Is 300Mhz x 10 = 3.0Ghz.
I Want To Make It To 3.4Ghz Or 3.6Ghz But Can't Boot Above 1200 FSB.
Tried Vcore Till 1.35 Also Can't Boot.

There's No Option To Do That Bro.
Like Most Mobo Have This Option :
CPU FSB,Multiplier,Ram Ratio.
But This Mobo Kinda Weird.
The Option For CPU FSB Is 1000 To 1600.
NO MULTIPLIER.
NO RAM RATIO.
By The Way,This Mobo Only Support 1066Mhz Proc.
Now I'm Using E6700.

I used this mobo before, yes it's tricky but it's still able to do some oc if you can tweak it.
Anyway, you can try unlink the ram and the processor ratio, so that you can just set the ram frequency to its stock speed ( maybe 800MHz ) then you oc the processor itself.
The mobo supports 1333MHz FSB, and 680 chipset ain't that bad laugh.gif

Anyway, remember one thing, you try to touch the chipset cooler and let me know how you feel, laugh.gif the chipset can tahan high heat, but it's no good, because the heat from the chipset trapped inside the casing will cause overheated upper PCB of display card.

Anyway, did u try unlink the ram and processor? I'm not sure whether this mobo can do so or not. :-)

if i rmbr correctly, it's more of the OC scalability issues of the N590 itself. Still rmbr how irritating , spending 2wks to fine tune / OC my ex FP IN9

Yes This Mobo Can Unlink.
My Ram Can Go Up To 1000Mhz 4-4-4-12 2.35v.
But Proc Only 3.0Ghz 300Mhz FSB x10.
Can't Change The Multiplier.Damn.
