Dirty tactics from Maxis to prevent port out:

1) Submitted application on Sat, 25 September 2010 (application rejected by Maxis)
2) Re-submitted on Monday, 27 September 2010 (rejected)
3) Re-submitted on Tuesday, 28, September2010 (rejected - finally discovered it's because Maxis has not terminated my supp line even though I have made the request more than 6 months ago. Called Maxis CS about my port out issue, put in my request to cancel the supp line and was told it's done and should not affect the port out)
4) Visit Pyramid Digi outlet to ask them to resubmit. Outlet tells me the only way to successfully terminate supp line is to visit Maxis centre, fill up a form then submit personally. Went upstairs and did that. Was told by Maxis to wait 2 hours to cancel line. Went back downstairs to Digi to tell them to resubmit later.
5) Re-submit Thursday, 30 September 2010. Maxis line suddenly discovered to have no service. Thought port out successful. Waited whole day, still no line. Called Maxis CS and they say it's because of outstanding bill of RM90.65. Visit Maxis centre yesterday evening to pay bill, was told that the amount is current amount and should not affect the port out. I asked why Maxis terminate my main line, the person said donno. Called Digi to complain why no line. They say wait 24 hours.

6) This morning, got SMS from Digi saying port in rejected (AGAIN). Called Digi to ask why and they tell me because no active main line.

%&*@#!!!!! Maxis, knowing I want to port out, killed my main line so when Digi request it to be ported out, Maxis declined. I had to ask Digi CS to resubmit again and this time I have to wait 48 hours to know the result! I`m so pissed!! vmad.gif  vmad.gif  vmad.gif

They've been using this dirty tatic since from the very begining when mnp started.

They'll purposely stuck ur supplementary line in their system. When u call their careline, they'll tell u no problem.
Once u tell other operator's to submit an application, it'll reject because supplementary.
If u ever want to cancel a supplementary, tell them to convert it into a prepaid and let it expire itself.
This will leave no leftover lines stuck in their system.

One thing, many operators will stuck u under blacklist under CTOS. If u're blacklisted and u want to signup with any operator, make sure u go to the blacklisted operator and pushed them to release u from blacklisted CTOS. Don't just obtain release letter. Check back with any dealers to see if ur Ctos is clear frequently. If still blacklist, go back and complain till they fully release u. Don't bother calling careline because they'll tell u is clear even ctos return a blacklist result.

Autobilling = ur bill payment will auto go through your credit card.

If u want RM5 cash rebate, it's best to do one shot payment for your phone rather then Easy payment scheme.

There's no need to hunt over all outlets in PJ. There had been shortage of stock due to high amt of sign ups.

Iphone stock will replenish most probably by this week or nxt wk monday.

I'll pm here asap once my outlet stock have arrived.

There's been high queve number involving with most digi centers n dss outlet except for certain places. So it won't be wise to actually pack in together with crowds for whole day and walk out empty handed.

i port from maxis to digi and manage to get my iphone 32 at taipan digi, service there was good and nice ppl to talk with. =) days 5 using my iphone with digi, coverage area is not as bad as i worries b4,most important is i don't need to worry about OVERCHARGE!!
i went back kampung yesterday at Negeri Sembilan, even thought is a small town but my digi line still showing edge and i manage to upload photos from my iphone4 to my Fb  ^^ i am maxis user for 12yrs, before i always worry digi coverage area is not strong as maxis , but now, finally i port out from maxis,  =) and i enjoying my iphone 4 with digi. ^^

Nowadays most phone comes with overcharge protection except "the Cphones". Though one thing, battery has a lifespan. When u switch on the phone and charge at the sametime, it'll gradually decrease the lifespan. This is inevitable XD.

5hours only?  i do port-in yesterday at 10.15am,, untill now its now ported in yet  cry.gif

how to know that its already succesfully port-in? when the maxis simcard deactivate right?
*
Yes when ur maxis signal is gone , it means that u've already ported over to digi. It's time to switch to the yellow card ^.^"..
U can call the careline to dbl check the status @0162211800. Most of the time if they don't have stock, they'll hold on to ur application before submitting.
Because once ur line switches to digi, they must get u an iphone within 7days. After 7 days still no iphone, ur plan will be forced to DG50.
New users who hop onto a plan will not be able to switch onto any plans within 3mths.

Finally could take some breath after so much iphone signups (>v<)b
For those who's still doesn't possess one, dont fret. There are more coming in nxt wk in various outlets.

Yesterday i have a chat with the digi customer services regarding this but they reply me saying tat although we port in as normal DG50 plan less than 3mths stil can apply change plan to idigi. they doin the exceptional for idigi plan. they receive alot feedback for this so they decide to do this. Does this truth?I not sure the digi custmer services info and the outlet info are totally different di.can someone explain to me?thanks

There are many exception cases where Digi staffs can do. Though it's gonna take them some time to hold the line just to do that exception case. Dealers can do too but it takes more time writin in emails to get the respective department to get it done but it's very tedious which most dealers will avoid. Besides, there are chances that their request get rejected. So if u encounter such cases, best to refer to Digicenter rather then walkin up to DSS.

Most of the time, they'll tell u to switch into other operator and get it switch back to iphone plan to bypass the 3mth restriction.
