Dirty tactics from Maxis to prevent port out:
1) Submitted application on Sat, 25 September 2010 (application rejected by Maxis)
2) Re-submitted on Monday, 27 September 2010 (rejected)
3) Re-submitted on Tuesday, 28, September2010 (rejected - finally discovered it's because Maxis has not terminated my supp line even though I have made the request more than 6 months ago. Called Maxis CS about my port out issue, put in my request to cancel the supp line and was told it's done and should not affect the port out)
4) Visit Pyramid Digi outlet to ask them to resubmit. Outlet tells me the only way to successfully terminate supp line is to visit Maxis centre, fill up a form then submit personally. Went upstairs and did that. Was told by Maxis to wait 2 hours to cancel line. Went back downstairs to Digi to tell them to resubmit later.
5) Re-submit Thursday, 30 September 2010. Maxis line suddenly discovered to have no service. Thought port out successful. Waited whole day, still no line. Called Maxis CS and they say it's because of outstanding bill of RM90.65. Visit Maxis centre yesterday evening to pay bill, was told that the amount is current amount and should not affect the port out. I asked why Maxis terminate my main line, the person said donno. Called Digi to complain why no line. They say wait 24 hours.
6) This morning, got SMS from Digi saying port in rejected (AGAIN). Called Digi to ask why and they tell me because no active main line.
%&*@#!!!!! Maxis, knowing I want to port out, killed my main line so when Digi request it to be ported out, Maxis declined. I had to ask Digi CS to resubmit again and this time I have to wait 48 hours to know the result! I`m so pissed!!

They've been using this dirty tatic since from the very begining when mnp started.1) Submitted application on Sat, 25 September 2010 (application rejected by Maxis)

They'll purposely stuck ur supplementary line in their system. When u call their careline, they'll tell u no problem.
Once u tell other operator's to submit an application, it'll reject because supplementary.
If u ever want to cancel a supplementary, tell them to convert it into a prepaid and let it expire itself.
This will leave no leftover lines stuck in their system.
One thing, many operators will stuck u under blacklist under CTOS. If u're blacklisted and u want to signup with any operator, make sure u go to the blacklisted operator and pushed them to release u from blacklisted CTOS. Don't just obtain release letter. Check back with any dealers to see if ur Ctos is clear frequently. If still blacklist, go back and complain till they fully release u. Don't bother calling careline because they'll tell u is clear even ctos return a blacklist result.
