rm30 for additional line eh, means the free calls, sms and data is shared among numbers?

another thing - EPP 36 months: includes the iPhone + 24 months monthly fee + 5% service tax, over 36 months. From Month 25 (Year 3) onwards, normal monthly fee will be charged in the DiGi bill.

What do they mean by normal monthly fee?
*
Normal means =

RM 88 , RM 138 & RM 238 --- Depends on which plan you take, you cannot take new package if your contract are 36 months

So on the 25th month onwards you are charged RM88 per month, you can only upgrade your plan and not downgrade..

So if I were to choose, take the phone for RM2,090 (16gb) and take the RM63 plan for 2 years.. Just don't like their EPP plan, is actually more expensive...

oh i see, now only i saw the thing, thanks for the reply smile.gif

So guys, whats the difference between maxis line and digi line? Any main advantage for either one?
*
I think the contract is between you and digi, you actually signed with digi not the bank... If you wan to terminate i guess you have to pay the penalty..

The main disadvantage of Maxis is charging you for the over usage of the data (Digi is free even if you over use it) and the monthly fees is more expensive.

The only thing is Digi contract must be 24 months.. And yes, Digi is giving you more savings.. XD

I'm going to give Digi a try since i've been with Maxis for the past 3 years... and the data charges are really shocking if you didn't control your usage on it..

Correct me If I'm wrong, is there really a plan where you can buy the iPhone 4 @ RM900 and enter into some contract with the telco?

thx
*
Yes, maxis is selling at RM890 but with a 2 years subscription fees for RM250 per month.. Refer to maxis, http://maxis.com.my/personal/iphone4/rates.asp

And you also have to paid a prepayment of Rm1,250 which they will offset against your bill for the first 5 months... sad.gif
That means upfront you have to paid RM890 + RM1250 = RM2,140...

but the Rm1,250 is for the billing for the phone or for the plan?
*
Is for the plan, the phone is only Rm890... 250 for 5 months = Rm1,250

so the phone is rm890 loo  not the way u said rm2140 becoz each month u also need to pay RM250 for the ivalue3 ma.. so u kenot count as 2140.. if count like that.. 12months * 250+ 890 = 3890 lo..
*
Yes, is for the plan.. actually 3gb is just too much for me, so is not worth it for me even though is Rm890 only...

Actually why they need us to pay 5 months prepayment?

i think they want the 1250 asap to cover up the iphone's cost.. so that if you cabut also they wont be that rugi.. becoz 890+1250 is already around the RRP jor..
*
Agreed with you. If you cabut, they charged you with another penalty...

I'm thinking of getting a IPhone4 from Digi, but just a little unclear about the phone pricing. I don't really understand how the 'plans savings' coming from?
*
The savings they quoted RM800

Phone Cost = RM2,090 (Actual price is RM2,290) = Save RM200
Plan = RM63 (Assume no auto debit, actual plan is RM88) So save you, RM25 per month, so for 24 mths is RM600

So this is how they get the savings for RM800..
The EPP plan, is however more expensive..

QUOTE(celciuz @ Oct 12 2010, 03:47 PM)
Ohh, so basically for 24 months in total I pay 58*24+2490 right?
*

Is it all places got no stock now ?

Added on October 13, 2010, 10:58 amOne question guys ...

If i plan to take the 16Gb one + the iDigi 88 plan .... how much do i need to pay for the phone ? is it RM2090 or RM1490 ??
and what if i pay by installment - 24 months ? advance payment of 1.5k is needed ?
*
RM2,090 is up front payment..savings is calculated as below:

Phone cost = Save RM200 (2,290-2090)
Plan = RM600 (Actual plan 88 - 63 = RM25 x 24mths)
Total savings = RM800

I didn't notice any prepayment has to be made...
the EPP plan can be paid by 24 / 36 mths installment..
Please note after 24 mths, 25 mths onwards you are charged RM88 per month...

idigi 238 .. RM 238
- advance payment .. RM XXXX
= Total RM 168 + 5% tax?

is the middle showing deduct advance payment or show rebate or what? thanks for helping.
*
Not quite understand.. the only upfront payment is for the phone..no prepayment is needed...
The rebates given is only the auto billing which Rm5 per month...

@deathbringer - You need to pay RM2,490 up front..
How you save the RM1,280 is :

Phone Cost - RM200 (RM2,690 - RM2,490)
Monthly bill - RM1,080 (RM138 - RM93)
Total saving - RM1,280

ahh...thanks. was quite confused with the "savings" part. coz i was comparing it to Maxis' plan. their plans are more expensive, but that makes the phone cheaper.

so i have to pay RM2,490 for the phone, then RM93 for the next 2 years. is that right?
*
Yes..if you got credit card, the auto debit thing give you another RM5 discount...
