Torres was good during first few seasons until when the defenders know his movement. I think it's time for RH to change their up front fire power or else Torres gonna be a lone ranger getting marked by 2-3 players. Sharing my comment only. Same case before Anelka moved to Chelsea. Drogba was a lone ranger for too long that defenders already knew his movement. With Anelka, Drogba is even better. Last season is already a good example. Ngog must do partnership with Torres to get the best out of him.

RH is more to a mid-table manager. He's capable of pushing the team from relegation crisis to.. highest spot would be EUROPA spot. Liverpool is too big for him to handle and I thought pools will go for Martin O'Neill instead. Maybe another 3 more games for him to prove he is capable of bringing Liverpool to a higher position in recent years?

Writing down tactics or not, I reckon that doesn't really make a big difference and definitely can't use that to compare which manager are more hardworking. But from what I see, RH only able to bring a relegation battle team to mid-table or if lucky, Europa Cup spot. I'm quite disappointed to see where pools are at now despite with a number of world class players. Clearly RH's style doesn't suit the players at all. I can forsee the exit gate will be open for him if things doesn't improve by next week.

3 weeks from now you guys are gonna face Chelsea. And if you sack the manager now, that is gonna cause alot of problem from on and off the pitch, to players where they gonna be unsettle and if new manager being install before Chelsea game, they definitely need time to adapt a new style of play from another coach. Believe me that's the last thing you want to see in Stamford Bridge.

No disrespect mate. as if our problems arent big enough already..Liverpool has already adapted to the current style of Roy's tactics. Im sure you'd have watched it. I expect us to be trounced at Bridge at this rate.

None taken mate. I understand how you guys feel as I've experienced that in different sports. It's really devastated to watch your beloved team where you support 5 years or more, struggle to beat a championship team (Blackpool) and derby rival (Everton). I reckon if sack RH, a black hole will appear in the staff room. Perhaps Sammy Lee can replace him as care-taker manager until Kenny Dalglish or Martin O'Neill are ready to step up for the manager role.

Another point was spot on; the spirits from the players. I watched the derby rival game just now and I must say you guys are like swapping teams. Everton played like Liverpool. Is either Gerard was too tired or he just couldn't care much about the result. Torres was forced to come down to midfield to get more ball opportunity and when he did, no one to pass. The last twenty minute I watched, the best chance was Jamie Carragher's cross from corner. Shot on target but deflected.

Sincerely hope you guys can bounce back. I guess I shouldn't be saying this but..

im very very afraid King Kenny cant deliver what we want in this modern football, i dont want a legend turn from hero to zero.....

Apparently King Kenny is managing Liverpool Academy since 2009. So in other words, he's not completely break up from the modern football.

A manager may excel in a smaller club, doesn't mean one is capable to handle a big top club with star player around.
A manager may excel in Serie A doesn't mean one will be good in PL, and the style of football is totally different.

One thing is I would like to say is that please do not hire manager based on cv on cup game.
Cup result can lie, while league table/stat won't.

Carlo Ancelotti did.. tongue.gif Got us double last season, but that's not the point. doh.gif

Jokes aside, yes I must say that picking managers through their reputation is not really a wise decision but don't you guys think that how did they actually built up their reputation? Of course through club's progress and recent performance. You can call themselves lucky for going through all stages of knockout rounds in CL or their country cup but how far they can go with luck? There's definitely something to do with players or the manager's tactic. Maybe this case can't really apply to Liverpool cause RH did brought Fulham to EUROPA cup finals but didn't manage to win. sweat.gif But he did brought Fulham to EUROPA spot last season in EPL. Perhaps like some poster said, some manager are meant to manage small clubs, can't handle when comes to big clubs with big stars around.

Here's a more interesting read but coming from caughtoffside, better don't fully trust it.

Rijkaard lining up to replace hot seat
