I still can't get over the fact ... We paid, what, 6 million quid for Rafa to leave and spent 2 million to acquire Hodgson ... Pardon me if I got the figures off the mark but my blood is really boiling now ....

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Oct 17 2010, 11:12 PM) Writing down tactics or not, I reckon that doesn't really make a big difference and definitely can't use that to compare which manager are more hardworking. But from what I see, RH only able to bring a relegation battle team to mid-table or if lucky, Europa Cup spot. I'm quite disappointed to see where pools are at now despite with a number of world class players. Clearly RH's style doesn't suit the players at all. I can forsee the exit gate will be open for him if things doesn't improve by next week. Next week????!!!! You mean when he takes us down to the 20th spot on the league table ??!!!!! No thanks. I don't want to see him around next week |

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Oct 17 2010, 11:22 PM) 3 weeks from now you guys are gonna face Chelsea. And if you sack the manager now, that is gonna cause alot of problem from on and off the pitch, to players where they gonna be unsettle and if new manager being install before Chelsea game, they definitely need time to adapt a new style of play from another coach. Believe me that's the last thing you want to see in Stamford Bridge. Thanks for the rally of support. But if we were to touch the 20th spot next week, it won't be any worse by the time we play in Stamford Bridge. We have to start making sacrifices now ... |

Lifted and eavesdropped on RAWK:
QUOTE One of the telling moments during the derby was when he was caught on the sidelines in deep discussion with Sammy Lee. Roy: "Sammy, what would Rafa have done in this situation?" Sammy: "I dunno, Rafa's never been in this situation before..." |

Frankly, I should be speechless ... Felt like I needed to lie down after the whistle but instead opted for a damn hot water shower ... Can't feel any more pain after tonight ...

I'll have to psyche myself to swim in the dark abyss with the Club ... This season and next ...Until Rafa completes his contract with Inter and comes home to us ...

QUOTE(ProbMan @ Oct 18 2010, 07:36 AM) I don't think is the manager fault...If I were the manager I would have just shift places all these crybabies-superstars with Blackpool players (apart from Gerrard). And what if Stevie is the one of the biggest crybabies of them all ????I think I've said it on this forum before. When Rafa left, I anticipated that we would struggle this season. Some of you may know I'm pro-Bentitez. I was ready to accept Roy despite some quiet doubts. I mean, which other illustrious managers would take up the position amidst the ownership issues ... We didn't have an illustrious list of options, did we? We were in Anfield for the first match of the season. Hopes were high. Liverpool spirit was very much bouyant. OG by Reina put a slight damper to the mood. But we went absolutely downhill from then onwards. When I said I expected us to struggle post-Rafa, I had never expected in my life that we would be in relegation battle !!! We heaped the blame on H&G earlier on. Now what ? We don't have to wait for the big match at Stamford Bridge to put the final nail in the coffin. I think we'll hit the 20th position even before we play the blues. Thanks, Uncle Roy, for the 19th This post has been edited by overthemoon: Oct 18 2010, 08:45 AM |
