The way i look at it, Liverpool strategy is spreading the ball to the wingers and just pumping crosses from left and right hoping to get lucky...

QUOTE(robertngo @ Oct 4 2010, 12:12 AM) can blame RH all you want but cannot overlook that the player are not fired up to win the game for kick off, if they have play like second half right from the start it would have been a very different game. that why Manager should screaming and shouting to the player, what is wrong with them on the pitch..if a liverpool player are not fired up to win a game a anfied them i dont think there is much the manager could have done. i saw some good attacking from 1st half, and i think it was a good start to play 'good football'....but our defence lose it again 2 times.... once again i would like to say, this is a manager fault....we got International player..but still we are on losing side with newly promoted team.... |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Oct 4 2010, 11:24 AM) Perhaps through the media, both players did not react as badly as Riera, almost immediately Rafa left, Carra said that he preferred GH's managerial methods, not something that one would expect when your gaffer just left. Then he said that Liverpool lacked class, Steve Bruce and MON hated us and he preferred Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. As for Gerrard, it has always been known that he never liked Rafa's way, he prefers a man who can constantly put his arm over his shoulders and talk, not that I do not want Rafa to do that but even Rafa himself said that he's not perfect. wah...is this true?? I do not want to believe this, but Robbie Fowler's autobiography did mention once that the players will do anything just to make the manager leave. Duke should check this... im not anti-rafa, but i want more from Rafa...last season i would like Rafa to command Liverpool for one more season and if he cant bring us to challenge the title, then we should appointed a new manager...
but the problem is, Rafa cant wait to get a new quality player in this season, yeah something that we should blame owner too for not providing enough fund...but not at all, Rafa also seldom using our youngster in our game... now we have RH, and what he has done now, look at our position, relegation zone....argh...i dont want much from RH, i just want FA Cup, Carling Cup (exit now), thats enough for him in 1st season ...and put our team in top 4 or top 6 will be enough...but in 7 games, we were in 18th place...so should i be happy? we are Liverpool and we should be in the upper table.... QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Oct 6 2010, 04:46 PM) With former Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill yet to commit to another job, and the inevitable American link with Jurgen Klinsmann, then Hodgson will be under intense scrutiny with the new owners.still a long way to go for these two candidates... |

im happy but not very happy...im happy cause we have a promising owner (as it says, trackrecord, etc etc)...and HOPING what John Henry do with Red Sox, can be implemented in Liverpool, eventhough not 100% but as he is, he should know how to bring Liverpool forward...
im also dont want 'quick mega fix' by investing in 80 million player and end up in midtable....let do it slowly (but not to slow) and take back where should we belong...top 4.. now its time for RH and our player...owners problem has gone...now what excuse that we cant win game?...i give RH this season only...if he cant deliver a good football...then thats it.... |

if you are good to find player, even it cost 5m also you can get a good player...it is not TOTALLY on the value of the player...but how the team works....
i still feel disappointed with Insua and Aqualani loan to other club.... |

QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Oct 18 2010, 01:44 PM) In fact I remember most of you all did mention that you guys would give Rafa another season at the very least. Yeap, im the one that want rafa for one more season...but, the anti-rafa, (in this forum), i dont see them just say dislike rafa without a reason..they have a reason...and they want better... so the anti-rafa now feel regret? NO! They regret because the stupid owner appointed wrong person in charge!!! |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Oct 18 2010, 02:45 PM) They did have good reputations because of what they did however, I personally only started reading about them after hearing them mentioned as potential candidates. I'd hate to think that our board selects managers on the same basis. I'd like to think that they would have done their research and scoured the globe for a suitable candidate whether it be a manager who won the league in Brazil, Turkey, France or Holland. can elaborate more? does this 'reputation manager' has abilty to bring their club to the top? for instance Mourinho, he manage big clubs and bring that club to the championship....It could have been Jurgen Klinsmann because my point is that not many of us would be able to articulate why or why not? How many can tell us what formation Deschamps favours or what kind of players he likes? I can't. It's like I said earlier, many of us select our candidates based on reputation, not ability. There may be the occasional genius but I'm not one of them. That he does. To be fair, Wales aren't exactly brimming with talented players. QUOTE(lilredridinghood @ Oct 18 2010, 02:51 PM) Very well put to shut meself up im very very afraid King Kenny cant deliver what we want in this modern football, i dont want a legend turn from hero to zero.....As for the last point, I did remember that Hughes did damn well with Wales, maybe due to his presence, as a legendary goal scorer. Similar effects may happen on Liverpool if King Kenny comes back on again? |
