Ok , now the best option for us is to fire RH and get Sammy Lee as our caretaker
eventhough this is not our style but he is slowly losing his respect from the team |

QUOTE(koolspyda @ Oct 4 2010, 01:42 PM) if i know daglish that the least he will think off. I highly doubt even mourino now (he actually came out & said NO he won't even consider Liverpool at the current crisis) with the board being a mess. RH ma not be the worse manager out there but he clearly hasnt got the credencials to manage a club like liverpool. we are now even scouting only 30+, end of contract players from other teams. Just how low are we to stoop. QUOTE(Duke Red @ Oct 4 2010, 02:30 PM) QUOTE(rushmode @ Oct 4 2010, 03:10 PM) HELLL NOOO!! i rather have mark hughes or steve fathead bruce before him.. I will support him as our caretaker if RH get fired.RH is losing his player respect and no longer have supporters trust and believe and somethings must be done to gain back player respect and confidence so by appointing Sammy or King Kenny may help in getting back supporters believe and player confidencesammy lee as manager? he's a red but he's not exactly a step up from RH.. Added on October 4, 2010, 4:32 pm QUOTE(ADVedder @ Oct 4 2010, 10:09 AM) "WE JUST LOST TO BLACKPOOL AT HOME FOR GODDAMN SAKE!" Maicon have Cambiasso that cover for him and Daniel Alves got Busquet cover for him ,even Evra have their own Fletcher that run the whole field, I will blame our Defensive Midfield that fail do so. As we all aware that is Johnson style of playing , he need provide both defensive and attacking option on the field and we cant change his style , that is the style that make him so good when he played for Porstmouth.I know he did made some mistake last night but I can see him join the attack and back to defend yesterday. It is too much to ask from an attacking right wing back.love these phrase! we cant affort losing any more game, btw, i seriously dont think this season Johnson is the same Johnson last couple of season.. wheres Babel? wheres the fighting spirit of the mighty LFC? QUOTE(demio121 @ Oct 4 2010, 10:24 AM) dunno abt Jovanovic at all. 2 months into the season and he is screaming to leave...!!! i think he just basically end his career. In term of experience Babel > Ngog but in term of finish and 1st touch I will take Ngog Babel is another that i don't really understand. Btw him and Ngog, i prefer Babel more but he is not getting his chance at all. I think the writting is on the wall (waiting for the ink to dry). QUOTE(Duke Red @ Oct 4 2010, 10:52 AM) Now I am no Premiership manager but I have been watching football long enough to form my own opinions. One may argue that as fans, we don't see the whole picture and it's a fair comment but I think that some things are just that obvious. We were getting raped on the flanks last night and Hodgson did nothing to address this the entire game. If this were last season, we'd see Mascherano scampering across either flank, providing cover for our fullbacks but Poulsen really hit the nail on the head when he said he was still a little off the pace because he literally was. He provided little cover and was reduced to nothing more than an extra body. By the time Poulsen was taken off and Mereiles had dropped further back the game was already practically over. We need Skrtel pace and Krygiakos heading skill for next match , as much as I love Carra , I think he is slowly losing his place.Dont get me wrong , I just think that we need more protection when dealing with set piece and more option when we are having our set piece. How long we never score from indirect free kick or corner?I don't actually have much complaint starting Carragher on the left. Sure he never really had pace but he played in that position when Houllier was in charge and I can't imagine who else would have filled in. Heaven forbid that Hodgson would have opted for Skrtel or Poulsen to play in that position. I am pleasantly surprised that Blackpool looked enterprising and played the ball to feet for much of the game, instead of adopting long ball tactics and this exposed that fact that not only are our defenders weak in the air (bar Kyrgiakos), but we can't defend against players running at us either. Again, I can't imagine Agger not starting when he's fit again and he is the quickest of our centrebacks and has better ball control and passing range. I think an Agger and Kyrgiakos complement each other well actually. We are still however, crying out for a decent defensive midfielder and I wonder how little Jay Spearing would do. He has the same boundless energy and enthusiasm Mascherano has. Added on October 4, 2010, 4:39 pm QUOTE(chitchat @ Oct 4 2010, 01:15 PM) You are talking about a manager that have been at VILLA for so long. To be force to sell ur best player every season and unable to reinforce, naturally the manager will feel his career have been in stand still point where he no longer have the board backing to achieve higher challenge. I am sure even with RAFA, if board force him to sell MACHERANO, TORRES, GERRARD and does not allow the fund to be use to reinforce he will leave. We need manager with his own big ego.All big manager gain it from their own previous success.Rafa is not a very good motivator but he got his own ego that he knows what he is doing , Mourinho is an example for world class manager + good motivator.Basically LIVERPOOL next manager have to be a great motivator other than all attribute, which i am not really sure O'NEILL is up to it. Maybe KENNY DAGLISH will do better since is a club legend that love the club. Really need someone to inspire the fighting spirit back to the player and play some good football. Basically the ownership problem is out of the player hand and the only thing they can help the club is perform on the pitch. To me, MANU has similiar problem on club ownership with their swelling debt but somehow SAF are able to keep their team focus on the football. So a manager that every player respect and motivate them will be a better option. I like manager that build the team from defense and base on last season defending record , I think RH should improve that department. It is pointless if we can score 4 but conceded 5 and it is a point if we can draw 0-0.That is not our style of playing but that is what we should do now This post has been edited by leaF: Oct 4 2010, 04:39 PM |

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Oct 4 2010, 09:04 PM) That is debatable because if memory serves me, Agger does a pretty good job at marking Drogba who is one of the strongest forwards you'll come up against. Agger has a better footballing brain. He is also quicker and has the composure to play with the ball at his feet. He doesn't boot balls aimlessly up the park. Also, please consider that we do not have a natural left footed player to take free kicks in dangerous areas. We got a couple of them against Blackpool and each time, Gerrard was the only player on the ball. No prizes for guessing that Stevie was going to play a cross and not take a shot on goal. Agger started lost his place after his injury and after that we bring in Skrtel on January transfer.I am not sure why he lost his place in starting line up as I prefer Agger and Skrtel combination on our defense.I watched some of Meireles video and he can use his left foot quite well , Aurelio , Konchesky , Agger have good left foot to take free kick |

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Oct 5 2010, 03:28 PM) didnt bother to read newspaper and just realised we been linked with JuanMata swap with Babel , what we need now is a new owner QUOTE(rushmode @ Oct 5 2010, 03:59 PM) you forgot that we have a very good young CB - Danny Agger.. he can keep the pass the ball instead of huffing the ball forward too that is the reason why I think we should drop Carra for certain match.I believe Agger and Skrtel gain enough experience to play in premier league.Carra is a good player but sometimes we need something new from defense department especially when we are working on set piece.QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Oct 5 2010, 04:46 PM) What a terrible result on Sunday and what a terrible position to be in now. Ironically, what may impact on our results/position is not on the pitch. We wait with abated breath whether RBS will take over LFC tomorrow and get LFC a new owner before the end of October. Johnson just need a very good DM to cover for him , he can attack and he can cross but I think we are expecting too much from him.I watched game he played for England where Theo Walcott doing all atackking and he only stay back to defense. He did a decent job on that match. We just cannot afford to sell Skrtel now, we still depend on his pace and toughness to deal with some big striker in the league.I believe that will give the manager and players a lift. Blast me if you want, but I believe RB was fortunate to inherit a good team from Houllier whereas RH inherited a mess.. Yes Poulsen may take a longer time to adjust to the PL than RH thought but he's still better than Lucas and RB bought many more duds during his time. Skrtle and Johnson have to go. They have caused our defence to become so fragile this season. Added on October 5, 2010, 6:02 pm QUOTE "I am angry. I am new here and all I'm trying to do is work and do what's best for the team," Jovanovic said. "It's not important that I am on the bench. I have signed a contract for three years and I want to stay for three years. "I feel very good at Liverpool and better players than me sit on the bench whether it's here or anywhere else. "I have to learn and work to be better - it's not a problem. I expected a challenge. I expected sometimes to be in the team and sometimes not. "And also, I don't want to speak about myself - it's much more important to talk about the team." Jova voice out his opinion and I cant see why he want to out , he impressed me with the way he dealing with Sagna.I believe he can be our Kuyt on left flank This post has been edited by leaF: Oct 5 2010, 06:02 PM |

QUOTE(triple02 @ Oct 6 2010, 02:30 PM) Why do you think every American's is going to the bad as the G&H? Do you have a good reason for this? I look forward to your reply. Do you even have an idea how well Boston Red Sox is run compared to Texas Rangers, Dallas Stars and Montreal Canadiens? do you think this company/organisation good enough for Liverpool? I hardly follow the economic and baseball thing, just want an opinion from LFC fans rather than reading all good news bout this company/organisation..We dont need a mega rich bilionaire owner but an owner that understand the club tradition and love football and Liverpool Football Club. What Liverpool is against is leveraged buyouts and Hicks&Gillett not all Americans.. |

QUOTE(december88 @ Oct 13 2010, 05:51 PM) http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/20...rt-verdict-live court do have people to reject their application to appeal the result.Anyway bidding times is over and as far as I understand , RBS already accept bid from NESV. Peter Lim will be the problem now, he's offering more than NESV. Hope RBS be a responsible bank and sell ASAP. Can't wait to hear/see from those two cowboy's scums. Indeed a good news for all liverpool fans , YNWA |
