The apps store data in the phone memory. It gets more and more if you use it eating up space in your phone memory. I hope the update could store it in SD card and a function to clear it too.

Anyone else use it? whats your feedback?

Would you try Cache Cleaner from Market? It frees several MB each time I run it. Not sure if it clears the cache that Facebook makes, but it might. *Requires rooting

I use facebook's touch site. Seems faster than the official app. Status updates done thru Tweetdeck or Launcher Pro Plus widgets...

The solution to reduce the file size of the Android Facebook App is this:

1) Uninstall the current version of Facebook first
2) Then go to Android Market, and search for "Facebook"
3) Download and Install

Doing so, the file size of the app will reduce to a smaller size.

try Bloo for Android.. it support fbchat as well..

currently on market version 1.4.. but i have version 1.5 (beta) on my handphone. but there some bugs need to be fixed, as the developer want to stop developing it, he plan to outsource the project.

I realise that my Facebook app is growing in size too. Then I discover that logging out the app, will delete off all the cache at one go. Try it.
