Proudly to announce the new and the second final owner of XT720( if you bought in singapore without contract ).

Phew after 5 hour of bus trip to Singapore, a sleepless night, a bad ache for lifting my 1 and half year boy and 3 hour of rounding in Sim Lim and end up at far east plaza in Orchad. I finaly get hold of my dream XT.

The last time i feel like this is when i purchase my first Motorola set, RAZR V3X.

Cant wait for it to finish it 3 hour first charging.

I try your version of applying app2sd as per fron page.

Question I'm using ubuntu gparted to partition the sd card ( formated earlier using my phone ) everything Went well untill you say to format ext3 partition n untick the box. I cant format it. It say device busy.
By the way how do you change fat32 cluster size to 64 bit. Do you need ubuntu64bit for it.

I'm using windowXP dun think it had the capability to set the cluster size

Finaly manage to install my app2sd. seem like the error was on my ubuntu ( I should have updated it )

The rest just the command to get to c:/ is cd\ instead of cd/

and since in ADB setup the tutorial ask us to name the PATH to c:/AndroidSDK/tools
the command should be cd /AndroidSDK/tools instead of cd /android/tools.


Now I'm ready to go for script & Jit

After applying the new russian optimizer ( applying theme) and change to droid boot screen and launcher pro
my memory goes down to 109mb?

is it normal?

I remember after applying the old optimizer ( with no theme ) my memory is 168MB

By the way what does the nextheme do to your xt idun see any diferent. Should i do anything to make itt look diferent.

... and what is framework? I still dun get it

Hmm i think i flash my phone more then 10x last 24 hour just to realise that the new optimizer is case sensitive. Apps2sd seem not working. I will try one more round tonite. If not i will go back manually app2sd and applying script later.

Khalpoower do you have any problem wit new optimizer?

I think memory is very important. Luckyly I follow khalpower method now my beast is flying,

By the way i read on unbuntu forum linux swap partition also work as virtual RAM. I dunno wether it work in our case.

Becarefull when you run the clean up script from the optimizer. Since it remove the facebook.apk it also remove your facebook account sync.

Go to market and Download back facebook for Android and install it back. then it sync back normally
