bored - the reason why i changed to android after using both i3g and i3gs. havent tested i4 yet but seems like the os is the same, just a few additional feature such as gyroscope and hardware upgrade. my guess, it wont be long before we see iphone having its user interface (homescreen) revamped to enable widget on it.

video call has been introduced for the last 5 years or more if i'm not mistaken. so its nothing new apart from limiting the calls to 1 type of phone only.

camera? nothing spectacular actually. i can get better result with a 1k digital point n shoot camera.

back to xt720... according to the software upgrade page, there is no decision yet on asia pacific xt720 which is known as xt in asia. my guess is, motorola decides the software upgrade based on the volume of sales for the phone which explains why the lower spec milestone get the froyo upgrade while better spec xt doesnt.

the downside of having a xenon flash is we lose the led torchlight feature.

was not a 'follower' after iphone came & during that time i was using the pda phone motoming or a1200. moto phone running linux is quite ok, its just that moto very kedekut to give better hardware to users.

then android came along... now a follower once again. next phone most probably be the Defy.

u dont need to load the master apns if youre using france or any other flash except usa (or arab?) since they all preloaded.

im using digi also but i never tested the mms. never actually use it.

No problem with sms here... maybe because i didn't load any theme?

i've been on all sbf except arabia, never encountered any sms issue. currently on france, quite stable but i still rate the mafia the best

got my defy today, so my xt is now officially for sale

ordered from uk, two days ago. and yes it really defies the customs.

will miss my xt then

now running 2.1 still, but will be updated to 2.2 end of this year i think.

i should have bought milestone 2 instead but i like the defy more...

my xt on france sbf can shoot to 48 degree la.

i just remembered that i also didnt apply the optimizer yet. probably the custom build.prop has some localization settings that broke the sms functionality

same here. because its made of hard plastics. being a smartphone that normally needs to be charged everyday, it shouldnt have a cover in the first place, or maybe replace it with a rubber cover instead.

i tot x10 and galaxy s camera is superior to xt?

i dont think thats 30 fps, maybe becos of the low light condition. u should test in broad daylight.
