If you want to make sure no data connection at all, go to

Settings > Wireless and network > tick box for Control Background data

Settings > Wireless and network > Mobile networks > uncheck box for Data roaming

In this way, the gprs will only activated when you open internet browser

until now i know 3 ways to turn off data completely.

1. call *#*#4636#*#*-->select phone information-->press menu(the 1st touch key at the bottom)-->select more-->disable/enable data connection.

2. use app/widget that change the APN name.

3. use switcher pro to turn on/off.

yesterday i was downloading data for this game... then i tersleep... this morning i woke up.. my phone was like sooooooooo HOT!!

did u put charger while downloading?
sometimes if you didnt plug the charger well, it can cause phone hot too..

yes... usb charging.. i forgot ma.. i tersleep ... somemore my pillow cover my phone... now airflow ....

want to ask...i already installed swype
already enable it..
but can't use it in the browser...how to make it work?
i tried the "demo" there...can use...but somehow outside cannot use

what version did you installed?
not all version worked in XT720 if i remember correctly..

try to browse back a few page of this thread, there is a link for a usable version of swype, i tried and usable.

just a comment on the bootloader mode thing. how do you actually gonna hold the lock button + camera + volume and at the same time slotting the battery in?

actually you dont have to remove the battery. just switch off the phone then turn it back on with those 3 buttons combo.

or you can always use apps than can do that for you, for example Quick Boot.

Quickboot app bootlooder version not support. ..i try ady. .yaa their reboot to boot loader but on rsd lite cannot detect phone..need to do with those 3 buttons combo,.

thn i uninstall thn install the X10 version ...also same
and the link at front is removed already...
but i remember x10 only

yeah bootloader mode not working for quick boot. it went to fast boot bootloader instead, thats why rsdlite does not detect the phone.

ahhh.......malas wanna analyze the theme file...
