there's some problem with 0.8.1.0, fixed in 0.8.1.1
using it now..

guys, dunno good news or bad news..
the official froyo update for milestone is pushed to Q1 2011, and now Motoroi update only shows Q4 with no year mentioned, dunno if its Q4 2010 or Q4 2011,... but i'm negative on motoroi getting it earlier than milestone as milestone seems to be their coremodel..

however, there seems to be a note at the bottom of the page that says Q4 = forth quarter of 2010.. hopefully moto keeps their words..

there's no physical difference between motoroi and XT720 rite? only different names in diffeent region.

judging by the photos, i think confirm wont work on dock, u need the back, the left and bottom to be thinner if u want to dock it properly..

read in XDA that MOTOROI received FW update version 44R and it enabled supports for Wifi N.

Not sure if the WIFI N radio is in other XT720 too..

Wifi N is the next standard after G.
data rate can be anywhere from 65mbps all the way up to 150mbps/300mbps depending on implementation.

i think something about better memory management resulting to more available ram is also mentioned, and i also read something about improved camera...

actually i think only korea got the latest firmware.. looking at the firmware versions, latest outside korea is only version 20, whereas they already have up to 44R, who knows what else is missing between 20 to 44.. LOL..

i'm getting dissapointed with moto, they've announced that there will not be froyo for XT720 though they did not mention anything for asia.. but if canada/europe/middleeast/africa is not getting it, chances of us getting it thru the official channel would be slim too..

just a reminder, always backup before u try anything new.. i tried the optimization for homelauncher redraw(launcherpro), and my phone got into a bootloop. ended up having to reflash my phone, and thankgod i only lost my sms.
