hi guys....

i just bought 32GB version. i am able to sync my music, but i am not able to sync those apps that i downloaded before buying the ipod touch.

for the information, i had download those apps few days earlier before i bought this ipod. my question is, how to sync the downloaded apps from itunes.

i tried to drag and drop as well as clicking on apply button, but it doesnt seem to sync

this is what i did

click on Apps (as u said above) then checked all the boxes as well as "sync this apps" box on top of the list of apps. then i clicked on apply. it does something, but seems to only sync musics and not doing anything on the apps part.

also i tried to drag and drop those apps on the right side (the one showing your ipod screen) nothing seems to happen


yup.. already did that. but still not working

yess.. they are compatible. not only 1 or 2 apps. but all apps that i download. example, facebook, foursquare, games example, angry bird, so i guess maybe something miss, but not sure what it is.

by the way, i am using the very latest itunes download just now

any way the issue is only when try to sync using itunes. but no issue when downloading thru wifi. it's not really that big issue, but i can save a lot of time from downloading the apps again

anyway... i still dont know why i have that problem. but what i had to do was, i plugged my ipod, redownload those apps again, and walla! all appears and able to sync!

Maybe my question a bit lame since im new, but can we download and save directly mp3, etc into the ipod? When i tap on download, it only play the song witg no option to save it?

Or i still have to use itunes. And also can i view safari horizentally? I try to tilt left amd right but it just stay vertical

I do use itunes listening to song. Thx for the answer. How bout the second question?

Hmm strange. Cant find those option in setting.

1. yes, should be international warranty
2. if it's a brand new unopened box, the first time you turn it on, it will ask you to connect to itunes first (like you said, an icon and cable on screen), or else you cant use it. once you plug in there are few process for you to do before you can start using it. including registering, syncing, backup, etc. i guess if it's really brand new, just follow the steps.

i remember i saw that restore notification, when i plugged my ipod into different computer. not sure bout ur's though. anyway, welcome to ipod family

this happened to me the first time i tried to sync. if it's not sync automatically, go to apps (after the summary) and make sure that games ticked. after that click on Apply button at the bottom right of itunes. if still cannot, untick all the apps and apply. then resync again all the apps.

if it doesn't work, try redownload the games from your ipod. then plug it into the itunes to let it sync with itunes. it should work well next time you download those apps/games from your pc itunes. well, at least for me.

i managed to resolve this issue. it happened because vertical "Portrait Orientation Locked' is active. to disable it. tap twice home button, scroll left till u see it, tap once to disable it it will turn from lock to unlock. all tiltable apps able to work properly after that

Portrait Orientation Lock icon. which mean your ipod will only stay as portrait view even when you tilt left or right, example safari, music player. you can try it to see.

to cancel that lock, tap your home button twice, scroll far left, there is an ico with locked key. tap that icon, the lock will gone. check your top screen again

how fast actually?

it will be sync if u login using the right account

i'm sure it will drop faster depending on which game you're playing. especially, those very good high def like dead space.

if u mean FM Tuner, then NO. if u mean radio streaming over the internet, then YES
