i have an ipod touch 2ndG.
i havent been using it often and the last time i charged it was a week ago.
when i used it today, it says 10% battery left. i remember the last time i used it, there was still about 1/4 bar left.
i always keep it in my bag and its auto key locked so i dont think i would have accidentally played any songs.

is this normal or is this a sign of my battery wearing off?

If your wifi is on and you're connected to a network, the battery will drain quickly,

But if its not on and it drains so quickly when you're not using it,there's a problem with the battery

that cant be a problem with heat or the proximity sensor, might be something wrong with the firmware if he's jailbroken or something, weird things happen to mine also, auto restart, screen flickers and stuff,i doubt its caused by JB and all the mods i installed.
