Hi guys, i have a slight problem with my Ipod touch 4g. I'm wondering if there's any problem with the set.

Once in a while, it will switch off on it's own and refuse to power up again until i plug it into the charger. Most of the time when such an issue happens, i have at least 50% battery (according to the indicator) and after it shuts down, it seems the battery is totally drained.

Has anyone faced a similiar issue before? Should i send my Ipod back for warranty?

Have u tried to reinstall the firmware? If u did and the problem is still exist most probably had to do with the hardware.. Do send back for warranty..

This is the 3rd time it happened.
For the past 2 times, after plugging it into the USB cable for a while it boots up again, and it seems the battery drained.
I'll try to update the firmware if i manage to wake it up again this time. Else i might be forced to do a hard reset on it which i'm quite reluctant to cz i have to sync everything back once again...sad.gif
