ipod 4's vid recording and voice memo can record til how long? is it depend on the availablr capacity or theres a cap/limut to each video/voice memo

yes, the latest is 4th generation while there's a rumor saying 5th gen not going to be released this september together with the new iphone. so yes, 4th gen is the latest for ipod touch since 5th gen is not going to be released in near future

yes, it is jailbroken already, but not the untethered version. means, if u switch off the phone, you will need to reboot via PC.

if ure okay with 2nd hands u can head to garage sale in the subforum of music n related. lots of 2nd hand ipod touch and even a new one cheaper than the retail price. i bought mine from the forum she's very pretty also

Yes you will be able to jailbreak it, there is no problem or whatsoever. but the latest OS which is 5.0.1 still have a bug where the battery life is not that good. as a starter, turn off the automatic brightness, and the location service. that should make the battery life a little bit better

Not planning to jailbreak is such a waste, there is so many tweaks you can install. I honestly won't buy Apple's stuff if there's no jailbreak

A lot of guys selling 2nd hand ipod touch 4 for a decent price. About apps crashing and all, buy one, and you'll get the experience. But it's worth it.

well, its not much of a bug actually. currently am using it like usual but just the battery issues.

when you're buying a used ipod
always check for

1. cosmetic damage eg: dent,obvious scratches
2. try different setting of the ipod's brightness.
3. make sure there is no dead pixel on the screen
4. make sure speaker(when using earphone) and loudspeaker is functioning
5. home and lock button is responsive
6. wifi is usable

this is the list of things to check that i could think of

hmmm..that one is quite difficult to differentiate. truthfully, original earphone sucks, so im using other brand.
for the usb cable, you could check the logo on the jack that needs to be plugged to your ipod. mine after using it for 6 months hasn't faded yet, but my sister in law bought a cap ayam cable, and i can see that the logo is faded already. this is just from my observation, whether it is true or not i also don't know

when restoring, try set it up as a new device, sync a few songs first and try playing it using loudspeaker

have you turned on the notification setting? and allow the apps to push for data?

weird. try deleting the facebook app, and installed it back.
