Guys, i found a problem which i think is quite embarrassing..
my alarm doesn't sound when i turn off my phone..what happen? any apps support this?
even my old k800i works...=(

You got the question wrong... TS was asking why alarm doesn't work when phone is off

My suggestion, use Flight mode instead of turning off the phone. It's almost the same (no signal, very little battery usage)

You also need to check if the application is running at the back ground or not first.
...if it is not, then of course won't ring.

Alarm is by default running on background when phone is powered on
And NO application can run at background when you turn off your phone

Unfortunately, this is how it works now. The alarm feature is dependent on OS

I know my old ericsson T20 phone the alarm will buzz even when the battery is removed.

mostly smart phone don't support alarm in off mode i guess...

Who turns off their phone anyway.. I noticed my K800i' battery life is actually lower when i set alarm then turn off and the phone turn on to ring the alarm then shuts off....
Then i have to manually turn it on again...???

All this off and on kills more battery life than running the phone idle on 3G for me....

alarm in this scenario is morning alarm...

like samurai said, just use airplane mode
save battery and annoying ppl from calling you at early morning!
